I was worried that since I was getting something that isn’t extremely common that it would look tacky but the material looks great. It is so soft and feels thicker than I expected. I purchased two sets of the GRAY color and they are BEAUTIFUL!!! When we moved into our home...14-years ago, we realized that our bed would have to go on a wall with a window. Not exactly what we wanted but...anyway the window was letting in too much light at night. Even with the blinds and several gray colored bed sheets...yes, bed sheets that we had hung on a curtain rod behind the bed. Our daughter new I was making changes in the room and she suggested that we purchase these velvet curtains and replace the old bed sheets. WOW!!! I knew curtains would be much better but...these curtains are SO much better!!! They drape behind the bed and they are so beautiful. I did remove the tie backs though as I won't be needing them.
