i am genuinely happy with this purchase. i am horrible at nails so i have always just got them done but i bought everything i needed to get (drill, charms, primer, dehydrator, this kit) and it only costs around 60-65 dollars. vs getting a basic full set acrylics for 50 minimum. for my very first time it took me 1 hr for one hand while also using a tutorial. i recommend a video called poly gel lazy girl method on youtube i used two different tube colors to achieve this nail look so i would say 1 tube will do a full 10 fingers maybe more but i can’t say for certain. once i got the first hand technique down the other hand took around 40 mins with some mistakes. i do think it’ll be a lot faster and easier with practice. it’s been 2 days and they are as sturdy as ever. i did as much nail prep and such as a i could and they do feel like they will last until i physically remove them. i filed my nails til they weren’t shiny and then i removed cuticles, i then put dehydrator and primer and then the base coat that’s included and cured it and then i did the lazy girl method for the nails. the shape and getting everything symmetrical is still very new to me so it’s taken some tweaking in these few days but i’m super happy with this. it will only get better with practice and learning more about better techniques. also make sure if you have pets to keep them out of the room and keep the area ventilated and also things will stick in your nails like pet hair or clothes lint or anything so be very careful with that as well. i seriously do recommend this kit! i was on the fence about it but i’m happy i got it. ... show more

I got this in the mail yesterday and decided to get right to work because I saw in the reviews that it took others around 4-5 hours to complete a set. Thankfully it only took me about 2 hrs! This set comes with literally everything you need. Products are all pretty good quality and I’ve had no issues (course I’ve only used it once though lol) It’s difficult to work with polygel if you are 100% a beginner. I watched TikTok tutorials before I even started, that way I’d have a better idea of the process. HELPED A TON! A couple issues I ran into was that the nail sizers (can’t remember what they are called) didn’t fit my thumbnail. Even the biggest size was too small. I will say I have wider nail beds so it’s been a struggle with press-on nails in the past. But I do think that’s why the polygel seeped out more around my nail edges…I do wish they had more size variety. There were only 9 different sizes which seemed few considering press-on nails usually go up to 15+ different sizes. The other issue I had was the nail sizer/polygel wouldn’t stay on my nail bed before curing under the lamp. It kept falling and pulling up off the nail and if it did that while under the uv lamp than it would create air bubbles/pockets with missing gel. I’m assuming that’s user error but wanted to include that in the review so others can be aware that it might happen. Overall my advice would be to not expect to be a pro at it the first couple times, and don’t expect it to come out perfect either. I did slowly get better with each nail I did, just by getting used to the technique and learning how much of the gel to use. The kit does comes with regular nail clippers but I think I’ll eventually buy the nail clippers meant for acrylic nails (where you can cut long nails down in one clip) again can’t remember the actual name of those. Because it took quite some time to clip and file the gel down to a length and shape I was used to. I also love the color variety and can’t wait to try more colors! The ones I did was in the white shade, came out more clear than white but I’m still happy with it! The tubes of gel had a decent amount in them too which was nice…definitely hard to squeeze out though. Anyways the nails look great from a distance but when you get close and really ''look” at them than they definitely look less professional 😂 but either way I love that they should last about 3 weeks without any issues! After living with press-on nails for years this will be really nice!! Maybe I’ll update this in a few weeks with how the nails held up! ... show more

Is my first time doing my nails by myself and honestly I'm glad I bought this kit. As a beginner , this is a great way to start since it comes with alot of tools. I watched the video and followed the steps. I did messed up a few times on the same nail but got the hang of it after. What sucks Is that u need to squish the extension gel in order to come out. Is not that easy 😕 BUT other than that I'm looking forward to it. Today two of my nails fell off . My thumb (only tip fell) and my pinky (the whole nail fell) looks like I have to practice more ..still have to figure out the right amount of gel to put and how thick i want the nail to be that way they dnt break easily . They ain't perfect but I'm happy of the results. Not bad for being the first time 🙂 ... show more
