Like the fit; like the pockets; like the material. Two minor items. 1) The two belt loops nearest the center button are two far apart. Once you've buttoned your button, the two belt loops on either side of button are a total of ~9" apart. Which means that the center part of your pants will drift downward under the belt buckle. The manufacturer should either add two more belt loops nearer to the center button or relocate the existing belt loops nearer to the center button. Then, the pants would be better supported in the center region. Again, not a deal breaker to purchasing these shorts. 2) The belt buckle itself. I like the quick latch and quick release offered by this buckle. However, it's made of cheap plastic and I expect it to not last long. Having said that, I've worn these shorts ~75 time and it hasn't failed yet. Again, not a deal breaker. If/when it breaks, I'll find a new belt....the shorts remain as a quality product. Overall, really like the product; well made; I'd buy another one of these items.....when the time comes. ... show more

I use the sizing literature to determine the correct size when I ordered the shorts first time around. I got them and they fit but they were snug and I like my cargo shorts to be a little bit baggy and loose and comfortable. Not oversized but just a little bit loose. I think Whoever has created the sizing scale is used to having clothes fitting them a little bit more tightly than I appreciate. So I returned them and got the next size up. So from a 34 to a 36 I'm 6 ft tall and weigh 200 lb if that helps anybody else out there. I've looked at the material and the way that these pants were assembled and I truly have no complaints. The zipper is a little short but if you size up your order it won't appear to be short or at least it won't seem to be so short. I like all the pockets and the zippers and the snap buttons on the back pocket so it kind of keeps your wallet a little bit safer. The material is totally adequate I have no complaints I've seen some comments that some people said it felt like wearing clothing made out of Walmart shopping bags I don't know who and what and where and when this person came up with this idea but that's not accurate. They are very comparable in feel of material to all my other shorts which are mostly shorts made by columbia. But Columbia has really screwed up recently and they're not producing the type of shorts I really like. So I would say just remember to go one size up if you like to have a little bit of comfort. If you are a strange person and you like to wear your shorts really tight go with the chart. ... show more

These shorts are lightweight, cool, and they stretch at the waist. I bet they're great for camping, and hiking . They're comfy and have a nice fit. Lots of snap and zipper pockets. The belt that comes with them is kinda flimsy. That's about the only thing, and you can use another belt.

These shorts are very comfortable and light weight with plenty of pockets for everything you carry on a casual day and then some. And each pair comes with a belt that cinches up nicely. Bazinga and all that.

These shorts are lightweight and cool in the summer. They feel good and look like they are much more expensive than what they actually are. The negatives were that the fit is actually bigger than expected (good thing they come with a belt), and the buttons are not very securely sewn on. Luckily, that is an easy fix with some thread and a needle. I purchased both the black and grey versions of these shorts. I would recommend them as a purchase and I would purchase again, just be aware that you might have to do a little stitching to secure the buttons a little better. ... show more

Nice shorts, I like them but wanted to mention that they run a little large since the waistband is stretchy. I wear a size 42 and that's what I ordered but they fit more like a 44, so keep that in mind when ordering.

They are a lightweight, quick-drying pair of shorts that are very practical for camping, traveling, or for keeping in a backpack just in case. Lots of zippered pockets keep contents secure.
