got these to replace the original meta quest 2 face plates which were very uncomfortable and itchy. Couldn’t be happier with these. didn’t need any instructions just took off the old one and clicked it into place. It fit perfectly and it’s way more comfortable than the original. doesn’t leave my face feeling sore or itchy after because of the padding. Bought this for my son his original one was tearing and sweaty,this one has 2 options he is using the leatherette like one for it repels the sweat,and it has the nose piece that gives it a better fit.

Box comes with 2 different types of face linings. One is like a pleather with small breathing holes and the other without. Both snap into place easily and seamlessly into headset. I don't see too much light at all on corners so fit is pretty good. I will say though that the original lining that comes with headset is much more padded or the memory foam is thicker. These two are NOT quite as thick although they are very soft so it is a personal preference at this point. I have a smaller head so I like more of a snug and tighter fit with the original padding/memory foam. Even with that said, these are not bad and are great for alternatives OR good to use if sharing headset! You can tighten the band on your headset and it works just fine. I wouldn't call the fit of this as 'pillow.' The material is cheap and thin and tends to stick to your skin. There's not a lot of padding so it sort of hurt to wear the VR after a few minutes.
