These are colorful good quality drapes. I have a long window and I've always had to put a set of drapes in the middle of two panels. These panels are really wide so I didn't need to put any in the middle. I bought two packages so there are four panels. Yes they do let a little light through but it actually makes the colors more vibrant. I have bought and returned several different drapes. I'm done now. I had thought I wanted some really neutral drapes so that any comforter would match but I realized that I prefer to have a solid color comforter which I could get in a variety of colors that would match the drapes.
