    • Great welder for the price
It will only do steel (DC only, no AC), and there's no foot pedal. But, this is a great price point for someone that want to learn how to TIG. I've welded thin exhaust, thick mounts for transmissions, body panels etc. Get a better helmet, and a dual regulator if you need to back purge stuff. This will get you to start actually tig welding, and learning what and what not to do. It seems like such a big learning curve, but once you get the hang of it and have confidence to do harder and harder things it's just awesome to have tig welding in your skillset. Highly recommended, never had any problems with my machine, and I bought it used 2 years ago. ... show more
