I bought a size small for my maltipoo who is 9lb. It does not have much stretch in it but I'm ok with that, it's very soft and thick and keeps him warm since it's getting colder. He loves this sweater and actually leaves it on instead of wriggling out of it like other pieces of clothing.

I got a medium for my dog. He is a mix of a golden retriever and a Chihuahua so I’m not really sure how big he’s going to get so I was a little bit scared of the size. But it’s not too tight know it’s not too big maybe if he does grow if he does still have a little room.

I like these sweatshirts very much. They washed up very nice and I only put them in The dryer for 5 minutes. Rosie is a 14 lb Shih Tzu and she is wearing the large. Zooey is an 11 lb Shih Tzu and she is wearing the medium. Don't be afraid to size up and the sweatshirts do have a little bit of stretch if you need it.
