Fits a little large. I had to order a smaller size and return the other one. It has a lot of room for adjusting. Comfortable for the dog to lay down. Easy to put on. Love the handle. Great value and nice looking!

My dog has a large chest (28") and narrow waist. He's a 5yr old, 55lb Border Shepherd. After goin through reviews and the sizing chart I decided the large size would work. It unfortunately was too big, and had the problem of potentially rubbing his weiner when cinched to a supportive level. I like that the velcro could adjust for his sharp chest/waist angle. Also the shoulder area was too big and didn't fit very well. Below the neck seemed to be great. I might reorder a medium. I got this today and already returned it. We've purchased vests for our dogs for 12 years now and mostly outward hound. My wife has had to cut and resew neck straps on each one to fit better. They were decent vests because no one else made vests that were close to fitting correctly. We decided to try Kuoser vests and these are the best fitting on our 2 dogs. I purchased 2 more in case they go up in price later. They are well built and really look so much better on dogs. After fitting each one it's just a matter of clicking buckles and they're in the pool. Hope material lasts and I will write another review at some point. The media could not be loaded. This is my third life jacket for my dog. The first two brands of life jacket that I bought were no good at all and I was starting to think that I would never find a good one. When I got this one I could tell that the quality was way better than the other two brands and I am happy with the way it fits and works. We have a Cane Corso. At 9 months old he is around 110lb so I needed a life vest to grow with. This one defiantly has room to expand. Solid enough around torso that you could pick him up by the handle. (If he jumped off boat)

The media could not be loaded. I’ve trained many malinois over the years. I’ve also gone through tons of life jackets. I love these ones. They fit like like work harnesses I use on the dogs while doing search/scent work, so there’s no acclimating that has to happen (for the dogs I train) I bought the orange one for my stud malinois. Last summer he was taken out by a wave down in San Diego and bashed his head, after that he really wasn’t a fan of getting in the water any more. We are water people so my heart was hurting for him. This spring I decided to give it a try and see if he would go in if he had a life vest on. It took a bit but we got him in. The issue was getting him out after that lol. He was so happy to be back in the water. This vest gives great flotation. He is 85lb and he can stop swimming, if he wants and just float. Which once he realized that he takes full advantage when he’s being cheeky and wants to beat the other dogs to the ball when I throw it in the lake. He will wait out in the lake close to wear he knows the ball will land. My daughter also loves to swim with him. He will bump up next to her and bug her till she grabs onto the vest, then he towed her around. (They both have life vests on and she knows not to push down on his back while he is towing her around) -great material, easy to clean after a romp in the lake and river. The vest actually stays very clean without much need to spray it off -drys fast -keeps my skinnier dogs warmer while training in the cold river water -hardware is plastic but good and sturdy. -love the handles on the top of the vest. I can pick my male malinois up onto my paddle board without the vest giving me any sign of not being able to handle the strain. -doesn’t get stinky (other vest I’ve used before can get really stinky quite fast) The Velcro is amazing. Keeps everything secure and where it needs to be, with the added security of the buckles on top. These vests are great. ... show more
