    I bought a blue cap for my dog and it was a perfect fit. He doesn’t seem to mind. I really love it, so I’d ordered in grey color small, and it was huge. So I returned it, thinking it’s defective. I ordered in red color, and it’s wide again. My dog has small head, and even 1/2 in wider makes a difference. To make it a narrower fit, I would have to tie the string tighter and it’s choking him. I love the sturdy material and vibrant color, but size small is not quite small, so I’m returning it again. I wish they would have xs. I’m reordering in yellow color, hoping that it will be the right fit. Also they don’t carry in all colors fir size small either, but Im giving another try, because it helps my dog to protect his eyes. ... show more

    My dog has pink skin that can burn in the summer sun and this hat is perfect! The color is as pictured, the quality is excellent, easy to put on and it stays on, size is perfect for my 17lb terrier and most of all, it is super cute and no other dog in the neighborhood looks this good!     * Updated review after company refunded and replaced the OLD version hat with their updated one. I do not recommend the older version unless you have a smaller dog with Pit breed type ears. Sizing runs small. The updated hat: With a few modifications, this hat is adequate. I have a 70 lb Golden mix and ordered the XL. I could possibly have gone with the L because the ear space is open vs. the other styles. Sizing seems accurate. My only complaint is that being able to curve the brim would provide a better fit and more sun protection, but it’s quite hard and just sort of bent when I tried to round it. This isn’t something he’ll be wearing that often or for long periods of time - so it works for us. ... show more
