I may add/edit this review later, but for now, I'll disclose that the material is very nice, the 'long' seams are on both sides and not finished as 'pro' as my brand name bag, but overall I'm quite impressed with the robust material, construction, and 'feel' of the bag as well as how nice it looks. Filling a bag though is a challenge and a true science, when trying to duplicate the specs of prefilled bags, though this can work to 'our advantage' as some bags are finished off (filled) way too hard and can be injurious, to hands. There should be a complete dimensional drawing in the listing including all dimensions; length, width, hung length; bottom of bag to hanging hook, chain, strap etc. Considering the cost of a filled bag, and the fact that many are not filled the way they should be, this is really a fantastic value. Don't be afraid to unfill' and refill your bag until you get it right, I used gallon size freezer bags with sand as well as shredded textile, I'm in the process of emptying it out and trying again, no fault of the bag though. ... show more

I'm very happy with this punching bag bracket / hanger. I was looking for a solid bracket / arm that I would adjust if needed and swing the bag out of the way when it's not in use. As you can see in the pictures, I did a concrete mounting that will survive the next apocalypse. :) I Didn't use the mounting hardware that came with the bracket. I could have docked a star I guess, but it's solid and put together very well. As you can see, I used nice marine grade anchor bolts, 5/16 X 3 1/2 inches. If you are going to mount on concrete, you need to use the right equipment and apply careful attention to the drilling of the holes. If you try to use a masonry bit without a hammer drill, you are on a fool's errand if you ask me. The hammer drill makes the drilling go fast like a hot knife through butter. Again! Make sure and use the bracket as a guide for the drilling. You can't afford to be off very much at all on the holes. And make sure you are perpendicular to the wall. If you get it wrong, you won't be able to get the bracket on once you put all the anchor bolts in place. I actually put this up for my wife and after researching, I settled on this bracket. I mounted it so the top of the bag would be an inch or two below my wife's height. This will give a good range of adjustment even for me at 5' 10". And of course, you could a spring etc... to drop the bag down more if needed. Good luck on your mounting! Do it right... The bolts I purchased on Amazon were not cheap and I could only find them in a 10 pack. mg ... show more

I bought this bag in August of 2022 and filled it to 100lbs. I then suspended it outside on my back porch and used it anywhere from once to three times per week from then to now (October 2023). About two days ago when I started my workout, the straps broke and the bag fell. I'd noticed them getting frayed and individual threads were ripping a couple of months ago, but I'd hoped it would hold up longer. I assume this was primarily caused by the bag being exposed to sunlight. Maybe that's on me, but the marketing materials never stated anywhere that this was an indoor bag or that it shouldn't be exposed to the elements. Overall it's not a bad bag at all, and I don't regret the purchase, but just know that if you plan to use it outside, it might not hold up in the long haul. ... show more

I got this for my brother because his birthday wish was to get fit again. After filling it up and finding a nice spot to hang it, he uses it quite regularly! He says it's sturdy and kind of hurt his knuckles initially (he even bled) so I recommend you get gloves to use with this punching bag. He did have to fill it up himself and used a bunch of old shirts (washed) until it was nicely packed. It's been a couple months since he received it and I noticed he's starting to redevelop biceps! He also works out at a gym regularly. The punching bag is not his only workout. ... show more
