First things first, I have got to say that after not riding a bike for years- it has been such a great refreshing memory for me to ride again. I love how the bike looks, there’s a lot of different styles on the market and I was grateful to find this match. As for the comfort- I’d say it’s your average bike seat. Battery life is good, I charge my bike everyday or every other day depending on the day. Lightweight and I’m eternally grateful for that. It’s a nice fit for me, I don’t feel uncomfortable. The bike quality is great, I’m eager to see what future updates they add to their upcoming bikes. I highly recommend this bike for commuting, it’s saved me so much money and the wind brushing against my face while I ride at night is something I feel everyone should experience. This is a great bike. It is my first e-bike and I’m super happy with it. It is easy to ride and very well made. It was quite easy to assemble right out of the box and was packaged very securely. I was a little wary of getting an e-bike but now I am glad I did.

First time buying an electric bike and was a bit skeptical. My husband insisted since I was unable to ride with him any longer due to my illness. It was easy to put together and it was charged really fast. The instructions were easy to comprehend and fairly straightforward. We went for a 10 mile ride that was most comfortable and enjoyable ride ever. Being able to have pedal assist is most important thing for someone that has a disability. Honestly been a god send, been using it to commute instead of my car and it’s been wonderful. The pedal assist means I don’t gotta worry about being too tired to ride after work and the Shimano parts are super good quality. It came with a few dents and scratches but I expect that is just part of the shipping process and not on the manufacturer. Nothing important to the bike was damaged though, all the important pieces were wrapped pretty good. Overall super solid I’ve already put 100 miles on it and I’ve got no regrets. ... show more

Overall, this is a good bike for the price. Because the rims are narrow, they easily puncture the tube if you hit a bump. I have to max the tire pressure to avoid “pinch flats.” This bike has mechanical disc brakes, which are terrible, and that might actually be overstating their ability. They have very little stopping power. I strongly recommend swapping the brakes for a set of hydraulic brakes. Also, if you use peddle assist on the max setting, you will get maybe 15 miles out of the battery. Edit: bumping this to a 4 star, based on customer service. I've only ridden it 12 miles, so take this for what it's worth. It's not perfect, but I don't think the cons warrant taking away a full star. Pros: seems sturdy, assembly was pretty easy, super fun to ride Cons: my seat clamp won't hold the seat's nose-down position and keeps pivoting even though I cranked it as tight as I could. I ordered another seat for 20 bucks; also the manual isn't super clear on a few things. I had to figure out on my own through trial and error how to reset the trip counter (press and hold up and down arrows to enter settings, hit the M button until you are at P16, which the manual only says is for factory reset, then tap the up button once and you'll see the trip meter start blinking, then hold it down for about 7 seconds and you'll see it zero out). also, I had to learn how to use the throttle and pedal assist with no instructions. If you have pedal assist on and start pedaling from a standstill on flat ground, it will forcefully accelerate way beyond what your pedaling is calling for, so instead, gently engage the throttle to get up to speed OR turn off the pedal assist until you get to place where it is actually hard to pedal in the highest gear, then turn it on with a single button push. No biggy once you ride it a few minutes. I'm 180lbs and this thing was going 25mph on straightaways. Steep hills needed my help, but not much and it maintained 11 mph uphill with little pedal effort. The battery was at about half after 12 miles of me doing mostly nothing and it was a 1000 foot elevation gain. ... show more

Beware - these are cheaply made bikes and they do not have a good return policy. I bought one for my kid, it came quickly, the box was undamaged, but the front forks were bent and misaligned, the rack, fenders and other parts were bent, the mount for the bikes computer was broke. Upon submitting a return, we found they will not even cover return shipping - so for a $500 bike, it's $200 for initial delivery and another $200+ to return it... ... show more
