This cordless vacuum definitely has a powerful suction. It works very well on my carpet/rugs and hardwood floor. (Old review, scroll down for new one) I have been interested in getting a cordless vacuum for quite some time now, since trying out the cordless Dyson v8 that my In-laws have. I started to do a bit of research and came across Jashen, and decided to take the plunge and purchase one of their vacuums. Even though they don't have nearly as much information or reviews on them as compared to Dyson, but have quite a significant price difference than Dyson. And when I saw the additional $30 off coupon I was sold. I am really so pleased with my purchase, the vacuum comes with all the accessories you'll need. Right when you receive it go ahead and charge the battery to full charge. As soon as the battery is at full charge the LCD screen on it shuts of letting you know it is ready to be put to use. I vacuumed my entire house so quickly and effectively. I have vinyl flooring throughout my entire house and I am not a big fan of sweeping as it kicks up all that dust into the air. The Jashen v18 cordless vacuum has a good and super easy to clean filter on it. Seriously love it! I think it is just as good if not better than a Dyson cordless vacuum! !!Update!! After about 1-2 weeks it shut off mid cleaning, on a fully charged battery, and then it happened once more during that same use and another 1 or 2 more times on different days. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but was still thinking I better try it out some more before my return window closes. And I am SO THANKFUL that I did. One day the left wheel came off, I thought it's okay I will reattach it, no biggie. Then the next day the right one came off and I'm like okay if anything else happens you're going back! 1 minute after attaching the right one the left one falls off once more! And you cannot tighten the wheels on to much because then they don't spin when you go across the floor. Okay I'm done, glad I was able to get a return and a refund shortly after, so 2 stars for that. ... show more

My old vacuum died/broke and it wasn't worth fixing (high end brand too) and I have both carpet and tile floors so I was looking for a cordless vacuum with a soft head and a bristle head too , I almost bought one 2X the price because of the name brand (I'm not sure I can mention brands in a review but you can guess what brand) but while at a friends house I seen this brand and checked it out. His wife only had praises to sing about it and so I bought one. I have waited a month so I could use it before giving it my review and with the virus quarantine I've been using it a lot lol. I can say this is without a doubt the best vacuum I've owned and has a lot of common sense features that were missing on my previous vacuum. Five stars to this Gem. ... show more

I live in a 1900 square-foot home that is largely covered with deep shag carpet. I also live with three dogs and a farmer. That’s a lot to ask of any vacuum cleaner. It’s also a lot of work to keep up with. This Jashan vacuum seems to be well-built and it does a pretty fair job on my deep shag carpet, although I I do have to go over some things more than once. I like that it kicks in to high gear when it detects a lot of debris coming in. I don’t have to think about what power it I am on when I’m using it. It is very maneuverable and goes in the corners and around objects easily. I also like the dual charging station and wall hanger. There are only two things that I would consider to be cons. First, the trigger on the handle irritate my thumb. I think it was put there to hold the vacuum wand straight. The other thing is that you have to order your spare battery separately, and in a big house you’ll probably need it. All in all, I am glad that I purchased this vacuum. It will make my daily cleaning much easier by allowing me to keep the traffic areas cleared, and the hardwood floors clean. I will still need to bring out the big vacuum once in a while, but not near as often as I usually have to and that’s a great big plus. ... show more
