Initially, I didn’t think this was a great color for a 10 year old, but she had her heart set on the color and style. Just like most kids, she is a bit careless and throws her backpack on the ground while on the school yard to play sports after school. It held up nicely and is very durable for a 5th grader who carries a lot of text books. There was room on the side pocket for her Hydro Flask and/or Stanley. The stitching on this could be better. Not sure how this slipped through quality control. It wouldn’t be so bad but this is the very front top of the backpack. You can see it. I worry about doing damage if I snip it off. The rest of the backpack looks good. Hopefully it holds up for the school year.
