We were looking for a beginner skateboard for our child...there were a lot of options on Amazon in a similar price range. We were looking for a skateboard that will be mostly used in driveways and sidewalks...not a half-pipe. Two things pushed this one to the front of the line: simple graphics and immediate availability. The board arrived and was put in use. It was ridden for the afternoon by our child...all flat surfaces. After their feedback, I checked the bolts on the trucks and wheels. I tightened the trucks to stiffen the turning to their liking and checked the wheels. All wheels were tight except one - I addressed that one. It has been used everyday since. Rides well and sturdy for basic tricks and normal thrashing. One issue, that did not affect riding, was the deck grip tape was ripped. With use it continued to peel and tear...it's about 1.5"x1.5" in size. We have worked to contain the rip and should be okay with normal use. We recommend this skateboard. Good board. Seems like it's better for tricks than cruising. Claims abec 11 bearings but I don't think that's true at all. It was very loose out of the box. I switched out the bushings to black and it's much better for my weight. As well although the wheels don't spin for cruising, it's more stable to try to ollie or do tricks on a board that won't slide out from under you if you misplace your weight on a landing. ... show more

I gifted this to my little cousin brother. He has been very fond of skateboarding but has hardly ever done it. I gifted this to him on his birthday and he loves it. I myself liked the painting on the board and thanks to them they sent an extra pair of ball bearings in the pack. It look pretty solid and holds nice ground on rough tar road as well. As my cousin was a beginner, this board suits him well and he is progressing with his learning. Arrived with beat up shrink wrap, dirty wheels, and bad stains on the sides. Small hair-line crack in the wood. Wouldn’t want to gift, but otherwise a usable skateboard. Came with tool to adjust wheels, which is needed, so another star for that.

My daughter picked out the blue one and she loves it. She’s a beginner and only tried it on a friend’s scooter and this one is so much smoother and much easier to maneuver.
