So I feel like there is a lot to be said about this slip and slide.. so let me just start off by saying that we were so excited to get this set up and ready to go. But keep in mind this is an extra large slip and slide and it is 40 ft long so it is going to take some time to set it up, my husband and I were not aware how long it would actually take us to set this up. I would say it probably took us at least a half hour, taking everything out of the box and inflating everything and well where we live we have well water so it does take a little bit of time to get the water running through the entire slide and we don't have the greatest water pressure so that also added a little extra time. But once everything was set up this thing was an absolute blast! Our kids absolutely loved it and we are definitely going to have a fun summer and this will definitely keep the kids busy. I was a little concerned that the slide would rip over time with the stakes that aren't very sturdy and with the kids sliding, but as long as the slide remains wet there really shouldn't be a concern for that. Our boys are eight and we do have a little one that is almost two and they absolutely love this thing. Just be sure to make sure the entire slide is wet with water before sliding down it. We did use the provided Inflatables to slide down and those worked great. I recommend using an electric pump for inflating everything just so it makes things go a little quicker with setup. I do think that this thing might be a pain though to set up take down set up take down over the summer time so just keep that in mind also. Overall though I think this thing is so much fun and our kids really enjoyed it. I think over time obviously it will wear and tear but you do receive patches with the kit. ... show more

This slide is long, 40 feet is very long. The stakes keep it down when using it so the wind does not pick it up. It also comes with 2 inflatable rafts that are easy to inflate and slide on. It also has a storage bag so after it is rolled up it will be easy to put away.

    • doesn't work like it should.
This was easy to lay into the yard, stake down, blow up etc. It's made of thicker plastic than most slip n slides on the market, it's wider and longer too. Unfortunately, once the bottom of the slide is blown up, the splash pad starts to curl in.. so the water doesn't stay out and instead runs from the edges where it's curling in. The 2 sliding "boogie boards" don't fully inflate, so no matter how you use them, you hit the ground pretty hard and they offer no cushion. The boogie boards don't make you go any faster either... I'm sure if this was placed on a huge hill, kids would really slide down and splash into the bottom, but maybe they wouldn't? The problem is, when you attach the garden hose, it fills the center tubing, once the tubing has completely filled it'll start to spray out and onto the slide. Unfortunately, the top has very little water coming out while the bottom has too much.. the middle is just right... With the slide being so long, there's little water pressure built up in the top of the slide.. My kids still play on it.. not exactly sliding or splashing... But they play in the sprinkler in the middle and bottom, where the water actually comes out. I wouldn't order this again.. ... show more

This slip and slide is pretty good! It is extra long (40 feet) so that is definitely a plus. It is also wide (5 feet) so two people can go at the same time. The directions say that kids over the age of 12 should not use the slide! What??! I have two teenagers and they both used it. The blow up little rafts that come with it were pretty much useless for my 13 & 16 year old children. Smaller kids (much smaller) would definitely get more enjoyment out of those. The durability seems to be good. It comes with the stakes and everything you need to get it going except an air pump. All in all I think that this is worth the money for fun on a hot day! ... show more

This is almost as sturdy as the semi tarp we've used previously for a slip & slide. We used foam floats for the bigger kids (adults) & everyone had a blast. This is much more of a workout than a pool!

The material used is thick and durable. I like the extra length provided by the water slide, which provides a fun and entertaining time for my kids. The water slide is easy to set up and take down for storage. The water slide comes with an inflatable raft to ride the slide. The water slide has small holes to wet the water slide for better entertainment. I feel that the price is a little high for the product I received.     • It works
This works generally ok. There is an uneven water pressure due to gravity while on a hill, however after running for a little while, that does not seem to matter too awful much.
