  • I really like this tire pressure gauge!
I've had this gauge for about 2 weeks and I use it primarily to check the pressure on my road bike. I previously used the gauge built into my hand pump, but that gauge has since stopped working. I love the look and feel of this gauge. It is solid but has the black rubberized cover on the back and sides. It also comes with a small round zipper pouch for storage. It's super easy to use and I'm expecting to it to last a long time. ... show more

  • Fits well over a presta valve and holds the reading until reset.
This gauge has a very clear analog screen that is high contrast figures, easy to read in the sun, shade or lighted area. The scale goes up to 160 psi for those that use a high pressure road tire. You can bleed air off if the pressure is too high, without removing the guage from the presta valve by pressing the reset button. This guage is a quality design, made to do the job and last... ... show more

  • Accurate and easy to use
This gauge agrees precisely with the gauge on my floor pump. I optimistically interpret that as meaning both are accurate. The gauge is easy to use and the pressure relief button makes it easy to dial in the desired pressure.

  • Don't Rely On Your Track Pump Gauge
I've been an active road and off-road cyclist for over 40 years and this is my first gauge. And I'm glad I bought it. Assuming that the Jaco is accurate, my floor pump's gauge reads a full 20 psi higher than the reading on the Jaco gauge. I've relied on the pump gauge and was surprised that I've been riding on under inflated tires for the past 10 years. The unit itself is solidly built and easy to use after you've used it a few times to break in the seal. Given that most tubeless or tubed valves are fully threaded, those first few times are a little difficult as one must push the chuck on quite a ways to engage the valve core for a reading. There's minimal air loss during the measuring process. The pressure release button is a nice touch and aids In gauge removal. The included case is, to me, superfluous since I carry the gauge on my (primarily) off-road excursions and the case takes up ~2x the space as the gauge alone. As a final note: Use some silicone grease on the sealing ring inside the gauge chuck. It'll help with longevity and it'll slide onto, and release easier, from the valve. I haven't checked, but I'd suspect that the manufacturer could provide replacements. ... show more

  • These are good gauges but a bit too heavy carry in bicycle kit
These are more robust than the Jaco unit I had a few years ago in my scooter tire repair kit and opted to return for a lighter weight unit.

  • Great for gravel bikes
I kept having issues with flats on a gravel bike and my last ditch effort before dropping the 2 benjamins to go tubeless was to monitor inflation pressure. The Teravail Washburns seem to like 65 psi with my ~200lb butt on them. Over that, they don't respond well to impacts of any kind and below that they seem to be susceptible to flats. The gauge helps me keep the pressure dead nuts on. It has a case that keeps it protected and its either in my bike support bag in the car or on the bike repair workbench. I've had it for a couple weeks, used it maybe a dozen times, and its always worked well. I am also learning that my pump gauge is initially correct but gets further off as you inflate the tire. ... show more

  • Yes, you want this.
I bought this little monster to solve a trust issue with the built in pressure gauge on my track pump for my road cycle. It is a thing of simple, rugged, smooth-operating beauty. A fast pop onto the valve stem takes the pressure and holds the reading until one vents the gauge. It reminds me of the high-end equipment I used in my technical scuba diving days. I like to measure post-ride to pre-ride to see how the tubeless tires are holding their charge between rides, an indicator of sealant condition without mess. And I have better feel for the track pump now. Did I need this? Maybe not, but it is really, really nice to have. ... show more

  • It is pretty but leaking
Yuu can measure nothing. It does not seal the valve so no good.
