The most important thing was missing from the kit, the patches, the patches did not come with the kit, but in the product description it says that 10 patches come and not one came, bad purchase

This is the perfect bike repair/emergency kit for our upcoming trip. It has 6 repair patches, a multi tool and a tire pump. Everything fits nicely in the included storage bag. This is a great value for the price.

You never want to have to use it, but when you need to, it can be a lifesaver. This tool kit has pretty much everything you need to repair a small hole in your inner tube, and the multi-tool has all the screw drivers, bits that you might need to repair a bike. That said, the tools themselves are not the highest construction (prob. not surprising at this price point). For example, the bits do not stay snug in their holder and I had one that keeps coming out. Plus, the metal wire that acts as a spring (shown in the photo circled in red), can sometimes slide out (I just use the bit to push it back in). This bicycle tool kit is not a toy. It is a really useful, compact accessory for your rides. I highly recommend it. What drew me to this kit is the compact air pump. It takes up very little space and is really sturdy. Yes it's small and takes quite a few pumps to fill a tire. It won't easily reach full recommended tire pressure but I was able to inflate a 26 x 1.95 tire to 30 PSI without breaking a sweat. That's more than sufficient to repair a flat tire and allow you to continue your ride until you can make a more permanent repair. The pump fits both Presta and Schrader valves and connects and disconnects with almost no loss of air. Just about all pump components are metal except for the rubber connecting hose. A quality piece. The compact tool kit contains all of the tools you see in the seller's listing and they're really quite useful. They nestle together in the steel housing like blades in a Swiss army knife. Just about every tool you would need for roadside repairs is included. The kit includes two tire repair levers that join together and serve as a case for five repair patches. The patches are more than just scab type discs. They are closer to an automotive inner tube patch made of rubber and about 1 mm thick. They have their own adhesive and require no glue. A sports ball inflation needle and two nozzles for small inflatables are also provided, none of which are needed for bicycle repair. These extra bits come in a rather large plastic box along with the tire repair levers and patches. I will probably just take the tire repair levers by themselves and leave the plastic box and other bits at home. This would leave some room in the case for other small items I might want to carry. Everything fits together nicely in the carrying case that attaches to the top tube of your bike's frame. It is easily attached and removed with the attached velcro straps. The case even adds a dash of color to my black and silver bike. The only recommendations I have for improvement is to put a reflective strip on both sides of the case instead of just one. Also the sewing of the case itself could be improved because mine does not sit completely square. But this is just nitpicking and overall I'm really pleased with this product. You never know when you're out riding your bike when you might end up with a flat tire or another problem that needs to be addressed immediately if you're going to be able to continue to ride. Even the best maintained bikes can run into unexpected problems. Therefore, it's not a bad idea to have a small set of tools with you so that you can make fixes on the fly and not get stranded. This tool set is compact and includes many of the tools that you might need in one of these situations. The multi-tool in particular appears to be pretty comprehensive, covering a lot of the potential screws and bolts that any given bike might have on it. The tire patches aren't going to make your tires like new, but they will enable you to get to somewhere where you can replace the tire. You'd have a pretty hard time getting your tires to full inflation from zero with the included air pump, but you should be able to get them pumped up enough to be able to get where you're going, which is what is most important in these situations. The bag I'm a little more uncertain on... The velcro straps will likely hold it to your bike well enough, but I know that in the city at least I'm not going to leave this hanging on my bike where I've parked. It wouldn't be there when I got back. So I will probably stick to tossing this in whatever backpack or messenger bag or whatever that I've got with me instead. Still, at least it keeps everything in one place. Obviously if you're working on your bike at home, you'll probably want better, easier to use tools than these. But for something that you can take with you easily, these can't be beat. I haven't been in a situation where I've needed to actually use these yet, and I hope to not be in one anytime soon. I do feel more comfortable, though, having them with me. ... show more
