This lasted 3 nights of camping - running my husband's cpap. The key is to turn of the humidifier and it lasts a long time. I love camping off the grid and Jackery allows me to get my way! Great quality! I live in Florida, so wanted something for power outages that may last a few hours. Like that it can be electrically charged up quickly. Holds the charge well. The solar screen takes more time to charge but is good to have as a way of charging it up after power goes out. 40 watts. It says it can charge a fan @ 8 hours. Good for tv, phones, computers, lights, or a mini refrigerator. A good way to try out a solar generator. I would only purchase solar if I opt for a larger size. Glad to avoid gas. ... show more

The solar panel connects through a USB port and adapter that can easily be damaged. I purchased a right angle USB adapter cable to hopefully reduce the possibility but it is still a flimsy connection versus the standard connection on other Jackery equipment. The bluetooth/wireless connection to your smartphone is very nice as the screen on the unit cannot easily be read in strong sunlight and as with any unit, may not be in a place where it is easy to read. The new light feature might be more beneficial with a dim setting versus flashing but should be nice when used as an emergency power supply during a power outage. The flat top and folding handle are also nice as it makes a great place for a phone or other small device while being charged. The 40W solar panel is nice for travelling but does lack a stand which may be a problem as it seems more sensitive to alignment with the sun than my 60W panel which does a great job with my Jackery 240. ... show more

I am the owner of several Jackery products, and I am very satisfied with their products. Some background about myself. I like outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, beach picnic etc. My biggest hobby is track day, and this hobby is the reason connects me with Jackery products. Given that cars are constantly pushed to the limit on a track day, cars break down and needs to repair or fix all the time. Before I was introduced to Jackery’s products, I was using an old school gasoline type generator to power up those car fixing tools such as electric jack, impact gun, drills, etc. In addition to that car fixing equipment, the gasoline type generator was also used to power up camping equipment for me staying overnight on a racetrack. The gasoline type generator works but was inconvenient. The generator itself is bulky / heavy, spacing consuming and dirty by burning gasoline; additionally, gasoline is dangerous to carry, and it has a bad smell, because of this, I started to look for an alternative to gasoline power generator. My friend referred Jackery power generators to me and I decided to give it a try. The first power generator I got from Jackery was 1000 Pro and I had a positive impression (you can check on my review on 1000 Pro on Amazon) with Jackery product. After the 1000 Pro power generator, I realized that I need a power generator with bigger capacity for extra juice for my track day camping and car fixing equipment, so I bought a 3000 Pro power generator (you can also find my review here), and again my experience is positive. Given that those 1000 and 3000 Pro power generators are too much for beach picnic and short camping trip, so I decided to come back to Jackery again and look for a smaller power generator for some lighter outdoor activities, and I come across with Jackery 300 plus portable solar generator. The 300 plus solar generator is about 11 lb with a dimension of approximately 10” x 7” x 7” with a foldable handle for carrying. The power station comes with an AC charging cable, a DC7909 to USB-C Adaptor and a foldable solar panel (approximately 10” x 12”). On the power station, it comes with a digital screen showing the status of the power station. It has 1 AC output at 120V, 1 USB-A output, 2 USB-C outputs, and a flashlight. The power station can be charged in several different ways such as wall outlet, solar, USB-C, and car. The power station arrived in time for my short beach picnic during the Labor Day weekend. I used the wall outlet to charge up the power station to about 70% in about an hour, and then the solar panel for another 10 % in 1.5 hours. When the power station is being charged, it is not noisy and there is no overheating issue, the power station just feels a little bit warm. There is an app you can download to monitor the status of the power station via Bluetooth. During my entire day on the beach, I used the power station for a small cooler, a small fan, phone charger, and a Bluetooth speaker, and with the solar panel connected, I only used 7 % of power for the entire day (approximately 10 hours). At the end of the day, it was easy to pack and go. It is a good-looking, user-friendly small power station for short trips and small electronics. Used for a month to charge everything I'd be charging if I were beyond camping and in survival mode. Easily charged all power tools, flashlights, phones, and more never getting below 70%. Recharged quickly. After seeing how well it would work for me, I put it in a 5 layered EMP protector. I plan on removing it every 3 months to use for a week, then back into EMP case till I need for survival mode. As for ease of use. Beyond expectations. Value for dollar. Beyond expectations. Quality. Beyond expectations. Noise. Must be going deaf cuz I don't remember any. Oh wait, I think it beeps when you turn it on. Beyond expectations. Come September when I take it out, if it doesn't perform I'll let you all know, but I highly suspect it will be just fine. ... show more

    • Underperformed, fast discharge, extremely slow recharge

I was very disappointed and have now returned this equipment. Based on reviews and advertising I bought this as a solution for sleep apnea machine while camping. Although packaging and kit quality was amazing, the device discharged completely in a few hours use (didn't make it through the night) and then the recharge was miserably slow in direct Arizona sunlight. I was not able to get it recharged beyond 17% during a full day of sun exposure. This was a big disappointment. On the positive side, at 17% of recharge level it did recharge two phones completely which was helpful but was again extremely underwhelming in terms of expected performance and advertised performance. I have no faith in this brand and I will not purchase Jackery products again in the future. ... show more
