Let me start off by saying I always refer to YouTube University for everything, and it took me straight to this product. I had a leak in the my pipes I used this kit and it worked like magic. Mr. Plumber lost a client that day. Ladies it was so easy. Follow the directions you can't miss. Than I had a backup in the tub . YouTube University came through again. ZEP. Clog cleaner. Let's not forget the hole the leak left in my kitchen ceiling. Took care of that with the ceiling/ drywall repair patch kit. I was on a mission. Needless to say it worked water drain immediately . 16 oz of the liquid Zep let it stand for 5 minutes and pour hot water drain clear. 40.00 max spent. My Mom texted me and said she just received a $400 water bill. I found a 1/8" hole in the main and a lake in the crawl space under her hundred year old house. The pipe was so chewed up by rust a pipe clamp wouldn't do, so I built up the pipe with JB weld epoxy and when it dried I wrapped it with this JB Weld pipe wrap. Let it dry overnight, turned the water back on and frankly, to my surprise, it held. A week later it had only wept out a few tablespoons of water so it bought me enough time to make a plan and get supplies to repipe the whole house. Like I said I had my doubts with that size of a leak on such an ugly pipe, but I was very impressed. I would be wary to leave it as a permanent fix, but it sure got me out of a jam. If you plan to use this product, make sure you are successful. Once you wrap it, it becomes hardened and difficult to remove.
