  • Solid results - like steel
Size: 2 oz Pattern Name: Epoxy
Lining of car windshield was separated and caused leakage in heavy rainfall so I used silicone sealant under the lining but this stuff on the upper edge and the seal became hard as steel on the edge. The putty knife I used has a permanent layer of epoxy that cannot be washed off or even chipped, so need to remove excess quickly which was easy ( if you're quick). Get it right before it hardens. Value is excellent, and functionality and durability extraordinary. Appearance is shiny dark gray, and I bought more of the larger tube size because you might use it up after one use since the size is small and difficult to reuse. ... show more

  • Highly recommended
Size: 2 oz Pattern Name: Epoxy
The J-B Weld 8276 KwikWeld Quick Setting Steel Reinforced Epoxy is an absolute must-have for quick and durable repairs. I used it to fix a metal frame, and the bond was incredibly strong, holding up just like steel. The quick-setting formula is a big plus—it sets in just a few minutes and fully cures within a few hours, saving me a lot of time compared to other epoxy products. The dark grey color blends well with metal surfaces, and the application process is easy and mess-free. This epoxy works well on a variety of materials, including metal, wood, and plastic, making it versatile for multiple projects. Overall, J-B Weld delivers outstanding strength and reliability. Highly recommend for any DIY or repair jobs that require tough bonding! ... show more

  • Top grade epoxy
Size: 10 oz Pattern Name: Epoxy
There are many 2-component epoxies that will get hard. JB Weld gets even harder, but more than that, it is easy to apply and work with when it is fresh-mixed, much more that others that I have used. I use this stuff constantly and it has never failed me yet, even extreme uses. Example: my electronic toothbrush worked well, but the rubber push-button switch quit working. Opened it up, and the little "finger" of plastic that pushed down on the switch button on the small circuit board broke, so when I pushed the rubber button it didn't make contact. A tiny dab of JB size of a pin head on the circuit board button hardened enough so that when I push it makes contact again. Crazy. Broke the side-view mirror on my car, cracked part of the black plastic housing. The motor still worked, but there was a gaping hole in the housing. I smoothed in a large gob of JB and you can't tell anything was missing. Next day I painted it with black caliper paint and you can't tell the difference. That is how smooth you can work this epoxy. Great stuff, use it for repairs. Never failed yet. ... show more

Very strong, great apoxy. Easy to apply and to mix. Just make sure you mix equal amounts so that it dries on time.

  • A Must Have for DIY Enthusiasts
Size: 2 oz Pattern Name: Epoxy
I would recommend this product to anyone who's into DIY. It sets up pretty quickly, which is great when you're short on time. Also, it works really well for most DIY projects I've been working on. One area that could use some improvement is the color it turns once it's cured. But that's a minor issue, really. To sum up, this product is quite handy and easy to use! ... show more

  • This stuff saved my weekend! It has so many uses.
Size: 2 oz Pattern Name: Epoxy
My "stud-finder" was unfortunately a good "pipe finder" too. While installing a hand rail in our shower for my wife, I accidentally drilled a 1/8" hole dead center of a water pipe. I heard water gushing in the wall, and my heart sank. As usual, this happened on the weekend with overnight guests coming the next day. Thankfully, I always keep both kinds of J-B Weld on hand. Long-story-short, with no plumbers answering their phones, I opened up a 6" square hole in the opposite side of the wall, drained all the water out of the pipes, making sure the pipe was completely dry. After sanding the surface of the copper pipe all around, I applied a 1/8" thick coating of J-D "KwikWeld" around most of the pipe, generously covering the hole I had drilled. After it hardened really well, I added another 1/8" coating over that previous application. It says that "J-B KwikWeld" hardens in 6 minutes, and cures completely in 4-6 hours. It was quickly as hard as a rock, but I waited just 3 hours before turning the water pressure back on. It was perfect with no leaks! It's been a week since that repair was done, with no problems. Just to be safe, I'm placing an easily removable plate over the hole I made in the wall in case I ever have to get at the repair site again. But because of my past experience with these J-B products, I truly doubt I will ever have to do any further repair. Getting the pipe completely dry with no water dripping from the opening, sanding it perfectly clean and a bit roughened, is key to a successful repair. ... show more
