If you’re a beginner and wanting to try airbrushing model kits for the first time, this is an excellent way to start. I’ve never used an airbrush before and I’ve gotten really good results. It’s pretty quiet, and honestly really simple to use once you get the hang of it. I’ve had no issues with it. Now if you have a lot of experience using airbrush I can see why only 3 psi settings gives you less control, however for the price and ease of use this is works great for most applications especially if you’re just starting out, and don’t have the money to spend hundreds of dollars on a bigger, probably noisier set up. Only thing I don’t like is the fact that it doesn’t come with the actual airbrush gun. Update: knocking down a star because after a year this thing gets a death rattle in the compressor.. no matter how much cleaning and care you do for this it will eventually just stop working properly and is very fussy about which paint you put through it.     • Does NOT work with Iwata Eclipse
We tried this with an Iwata Eclipse airbrush and be advised it does not work - at ALL. It seems it is not strong enough to even pull the paint. I have no idea how this would work for any airbrush though since it seems like it isn't strong enough at all. Not sure if the one we got was defective or if it's just not a good quality machine. ... show more

I bought my neo and compressor for Warhammer 40K. I own 2 neo cn's and this compressor. I can get in pretty tight on some details. The whole setup is pretty tiny and portable as there's a holder on the compressor I can keep it on my desk. The two issues I have are that 1) this compressor has a 10 min time limit. Meaning that you have 10 mins of continuous spraying time until the automatic shut off kicks in. It isn't a big deal, as you can just turn it back on, but it just breaks my flow and concentration. 2) The hose is attached to the compressor by a slip friction fit. As a result, you do not have many options for replacements. ... show more

It came with airbrush as a “kit.” Don’t bother buying it as a solo as it will not meet the needs of most painters.

Great product! Very quiet and it has met my needs. It does shut off once it runs for 10 minutes, but it’s not a big deal to me.. I just turn it back on.

It sounds like Air is leaking from base of air exit. I thought I didn't get enough pressure for my air brush. But it was because of quick release connection male female were not connected completely. I needed to use this compressor for my job, I have not returned yet. Already past for return date. I have another small compressor from other Japanese company named Hollywood Air. This never gave me any fear or concern about air leaking. Overall, It's OK compressor. Hope Iwata make this compressor better for the future. ... show more
