I absolutely LOVE the iwalk! I bought the base that holds 4 iwalks and purchased 3 type-C’s and one lightning cable for my iPhone 14. It was SO freeing to be able to walk from room to room while charging the phone, and have it charge RAPIDLY, at that! It came in clutch when I forgot to charge and had a video conference with less than 50% battery life on my phone. These also charge every generation of iPad from zero to 100 on a single charge. What had happened wuzzz…..my son’s best friend (7 years old) stayed over and didn’t pull the iwalk straight out of his personal ipad, he snapped it off as if it was a KitKat candy bar! I told him that he was no longer allowed to touch the iwalk and if he needed a charge, to ask one of the three grownups in the house for help. Of course, one day, he was alone in the living room while I was preparing one of many meals for these hungry kids in the kitchen, and he took it upon himself to plug an iwalk in and, according to another child witness, he twisted it to remove it and snapped a SECOND iwalk off from his ipad! I had to use a tweezer to extract the metal plug. Well, needless to say, I ended up telling his parents, not because he was in trouble, but because in the same night, he broke a cord charger off into his ipad also! I warned his parents to keep their child from all chargers because he most certainly will not be using his iPad in my house, and absolutely will not be allowed to touch anything electronic or plugged into the wall! This series of unfortunate events does NOT in any way, shape or form affect my decision to buy this or take away from their functionality. I will be repurchasing them. I will be keeping them in a locked cabinet. Thank you for your time. ... show more

I've had the iWalk portable charger for my old iPhone for a couple years. It's great. I keep it in my purse/backpack charged. As the phone battery gets low, I put it on my phone, put it back in my purse/bag and all was good to go when I need it. Charged up. This USB-C version is not the same. It's like they retrofitted all the old ones with the USB-C port instead of actually designing one to work with USB-C. It got MUCH warmer - like I could feel the heat on my hip from inside my leather purse. Both the battery and phone heat up quite a bit. Second, the connection to the phone is not as secure as the old lightening version. I found myself keeping a hand under it to make sure it wouldn't fall out. Had never been a worry with the other version. But it charged the phone and then recharged ok. Then the second time I used it, I went to get it from my purse and found the silver part of the port broken off in my phone and the charger like the photos. I've had my old iWalk charger in my purse, charging my phone the same way for years. So yeah, find a different one for USB-C use. This one feels not ready for prime time. ... show more

Charges quickly and is very convenient. However, the item is very heavy, making it cumbersome for travel, and it only has enough capacity to charge one and a half times. Must be recharged after each use.
