This was my first time trying out a hydroponic system & I am so pleasantly surprised by how fast I saw results. Easy to follow directions, low maintenance. So happy with the results after only 3 weeks! Great value for the cost. Update: Third photo is about 1.5 months in. I have harvested the greens several times for salads and they grow back quickly. I have been changing all of the water & adding new nutrients about once a week, adding water ~1 other time during the week as needed. Loved the results so bought a second. Curious to see how veggies will do... trying out tomatoes and cucumbers this round. ... show more

I have two bell pepper plants growing. They’re doing amazing. Growing so fast. They each have a handful of peppers on them. I stopped pollinating the other flowers because I’m not sure if it’ll be able to handle too many. They are outgrowing the light but they don’t seem to be bothered. I have mixed feelings about this item because I'm still using the lights on something else but I don't like the other part of it because there is no water pump and it's easy to get mold and algae growing I do like the fact that you can see the seeds as they sprout and the light cycle is off it is random I have to turn them off and on myself so it's ups and downs it's cool for a beginner this is the first one I ever bought that led me to getting others and have pumps and good timers I love my indoor garden and the light is still being used for other plants hope it lasts a lot longer it is very bright ... show more

Came in scuffed up, looked used. No circulatory motor. No options for light settings, one setting for 13 hours. Grow pods are little foam pieces that look unnatural and formed chemically. For the same price you can get a hydroponic system with a motor and actual sponges for growth, and multiple light options. Turn around and shop elsewhere. ... show more

I had my doubts about the quality if this when I saw fuzzy looking floaty things in the nutrient solution. I used it anyway, and my plants are doing great! I have lettuce, spinach, and herbs that have only been in the thing for about a month, and I’ve already been eating from it.     • good light, no water movement
had to add a water pump with aeration. doesn’t come with any. for great results you need air, water and light. kind of like a car needs spark, gas and air to work correctly. With my additions it should be a fine, inexpensive hydroponic setup.
