Description

The Ironman IFT 4000 is the most recent advanced innovation to reduce back pain. Utilizing inversion relaxation combined with Infrared Heat Therapy, users should receive health and therapeutic benefits of Far Infrared Therapy (F.I.R.) heat therapy to the back. The IFT1000 incorporates the most advanced F.I.R. heat therapy technology. Ultra thin built-in carbon fiber heating elements provide a natural and gentle heat to sooth your back and provide temporary relief from minor muscle pains. The ribbed foam back rest will heat up to a maximum of 140 degrees . The LED controller display indicates the temperature setting as well as a timer. A remote control with batteries is also included. The inversion table has been tested by ETL for all safety requirements. Tough rubber non-skid floor stabilizers prevent any movement during inversion. The 2.5" thick rib design Infrared Heat Therapy Backrest provides comfort along with soothing heat to the back. The inversion table will invert up to a full 180 degrees and ergonomically molded ankle cushions hold ankles securely and comfortably in place. The IFT4000 has 3 adjustments for different starting inversion angles. Inverting hand grips allow for stretching and positioning of the body while inverting. Patented "palm activated" easy to reach ratchet ankle locking system allows for easy in and out of the ankle holders. The IFT 1000 will support users up to 350 lbs.The table folds for storage and has a height adjustment from 4'9" to 6'6". Extra long safety handles for easy inverting are foam covered and safety vinyl safety covers have a mesh pocket to hold the remote control, along with glasses and other personal items. • Ironman vs Teeter / And Improve the COMFORT with SPONGES
Teeter VS Ironman Ironman wins. I purchased the TEETER (EP 860) through HSN. AND I purchased the IRONMAN IFT 4000 through Amazon. So, I am able to COMPARE the two. The BEST Teeter and Ironman incline tables are BOTH wonderful products! I believe that EVERY adult should have one! But the IRONMAN is the best VALUE, and simply the BEST selection. A highly ATHLETIC person might prefer the TEETER because one can hang freely in full inversion (i.e. 100%) while the table snaps out of the way. By contrast, for the IRONMAN, the maximum inversion is close to 95%. So, one’s back will always have at least a little contact with the incline table. The Ironman table is a little easier to return to the upright position without risking getting stuck in full inversion - because it never inverts more than 95%. The Teeter, by contrast, fully inverts and then it gently SNAPS into the fully inverted position. Therefore, to start the process of returning to the upright position, one must know enough to pull the inversion table flush with one’s back and wait - to slowly start the process of returning to the upright position. Otherwise, a novice not knowing this (and having failed to study the instructions) might dangle in full inversion until help arrives. People complain about the COMFORT of the lower leg/ankle clamps of BOTH company’s BEST inversion tables, but the COMFORT for BOTH company’s inversion tables can be EASILY dramatically improved by sandwiching SPONGES (or equivalent cushions) below and over each ankle. I use: “QEP XL All Purpose Sponges.” These are available at Home Depot AND thru Amazon. It is a little harder to sandwich-in sponge cushions for the Teeter because the Teeter’s ankle clamps do not separate as much as in the Ironman. So, some trial and error practice is required for the Teeter. I have serious concerns about the worthlessness of some of Teeter’s accessories: “acupuncture nodes” which attach directly to the table!; a hard plastic, variable: “lumbar support” – that hurts! These do NOT work. And persons who purchased Teeter’s Inversion Boots are not happy with those either –read the reviews. The Teeter incline table is made of hard plastic, which IS comfortable enough (provided that you do NOT try to use the variable plastic “lumbar support”). By contrast, the Ironman comes with a memory-foam covered table, which is SUPER comfortable. Both are wonderful, but the Ironman is BY FAR the better VALUE. ... show more

  • I’m an idiot
This inversion table is absolutely the best. Unparalleled comfort, the heater is amazing and truly amplifies the stretch. I suffer from several compressed/bulging cervical disks which causes near-constant neck pain, shoulder pain, and numbness in arms. This table reduced the symptoms significantly. It was a pleasure to use. I love the side pockets and remote control. So why am I am idiot? Well, in the process of moving, I thought it was a great idea to downsize so I sold this table. After the move and at the urging of my husband we bought a top of the line Teeter. I regret spending that money! It does not come close to the Ironman table. While it has similar ankle clamps and is very secure, it feels less so because the foot rests on the Ironman are just much better and the ankle clamps are nicer and more cushioned while just as secure. The Teeter has no pockets and no heat. It’s just a hard plastic. If I have the opportunity to sell it and buy the Ironman again I will do so. ... show more

  • The Ironman Infrared inversions tables are the only tagbles to get, forget the rest.
I have arthritis in my low back and I LOVE what this table and the 3000 have done for my spine. There is no better company for Inversions tables. I've had the Ironman 3000. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. The heat is better on the 3000 because it does not have as much foam on it. I don't think the foam is that important, being you will be either at a slant or upside down. The 4000 has a better ankle release, but the one on the 3000 is not a deal breaker. The 3000 would be better in clinics because of the covering would be easier to clean and is vinyl while the 4000 has cloth. On the 3000, I had to have the heat at 125, while on the 4000, I need it on 140, the highest setting. The 4000 is easier to get in and out of, but it was not that much harder on the 3000, because you have to bend over more to release it. The Infrared heat is a must. After having the 3000, I realized it was as important as the inversion, being it relaxes the muscles and helps get rid of scar tissue too, going between 1/2 to 2 inches into the body. The 3000 was better for this. You want your back heated up before you invert and stretch. It is also built extremely sturdy too. If you are going to get an inversion table, get an Ironman infrared table, even if you get the cheaper infrared Ironman tables. Forget the other tables other than the Ironman infrared Therapy Inversion tables. This table has done wonders for my back. You will never regret your purchase of this. ... show more
