The media could not be loaded. They use cheap wood were the leaf of it will fall off randomly!! To much money for such poor quality!

    • Shelf not sturdy
Unit is simple, but tedious to assemble. Some of the pre drilled holes did not line up with the mating parts. My 7 year old (68 Lbs.) broke the shelf by leaning on it to adjust her position on the stool.

This island adds a lot of storage in a small space, making it perfect for the size of my kitchen. And my cat loves exploring the inside every time I open the door.

    • Cheap but works
So much storage space and looks good from afar, but up close there are major issues. The welding on the frames of the chair were completely screwed up causing both chairs to be wobbly and not level. It shipped in a million little pieces many of which were damaged. One week after assembly my 50 pound child leaned too hard on the bar causing it to collapse on his legs, this was not due to poor assembly but rather the screws holding the bar up being about 1 in. long and going through a 1/2 in. While this island is super cute and I was excited to have it, its functionality sucks. For starters, they give you a single small screw driver to put together thousands of pieces (and the “holes” weren’t even open for you to screw in). Luckily we had a tool set with a drill. Second, multiple of the “holes” did not match up and we would have to make new holes to secure things in place. At one point the screws they gave us weren’t even long enough to secure a piece so we had to use longer screws that we already had (again, thanks to our tool set). Lastly, the leaf is advertised to hold up to 110 lbs but it broke on us while eating dinner (MAYBE 10 lbs of plates and arms) only a week after getting it.
