There was definitely an odor out of the box. When you first assemble it, the lid for the larger container will spring, so do expect that. I assembled it and left it open in an open space for around 4 hours to air out the smell, then closed for another 3-4 hours to help the lid close before adding in my dog's food. I use the smaller container to hold her many treats. It'll be perfect for when we travel a few days at a time, as I can empty her treats and toss easily up to two weeks of food into the smaller box to travel with. The containers wheel around with ease. They came with what I first considered a comically large scoop that has measurements. I gotta say though.. after using it for a while now, the scoop is actually very comfortable for me. I've used this for several weeks now and I love it. It's definitely not "air tight" but it does have a good sealed shut. The large container lid will pop out of hinge easily, if you don't open with care. I read several reviews stating problems with the rolling wheels. I have had no problems. Wheels were very easy to snap into place & are very durable even when rolled over bumpy surfaces by young grandkids. I needed a very big, but transportable container for dog food with seperate container for various bags of dog treats. I keep the treats in their individual bags for freshness as the treats do seem to dry out a bit, otherwise. However, I dump the dog food out of the bags, into the larger container. Even tho its not an air tight seal, there has been no issue with freshness. This is perfect! Excellent value for the low price. This was exactly what we were looking for. To store food in one and treats in the other. Living in FL there are a lot of small bugs that you need to be aware of and prevent from getting into the food. We have it it for quite awhile and it is doing its job well. The food is stored by the back door so there is always ants or something getting into the house but never into the food. The seal on the top seems to be doing the trick. In fact I could see using this for other things besides food that you want to keep safe, dry, and easy access. I would recommend it highly. ... show more

I’ve been debating between getting a caddy or not and which one. I’m so glad I decided on this one! I was able to pour my cats food straight in and had to tip it on its side to put the wheels on (too eager to see how it did 😅) and nothing came out. Strong hold on that lid. Highly recommend!!

I only have one cat but I usually buy the large bag of dry food to save money. I hated to store that big 30lb bag on the back porch after opening because I was afraid it would attract mice. This is so perfect and much easier to move around and is sealed up so NO mice. Very happy with this purchase.

They are super easy to use and I love the fact that I can put a lot of our dog's food in the top and do not need to bend down to get it out of the container. I would recommend them to anyone. I bought two sets of these. One set I use the bottom one for dry cat food and the smaller top one to store canned food and treats. The other set I use the bottom one for cat litter and the smaller top one to hold the litter scoop. They are so convenient, easy to clean, easy to move around. We are loving this stacking, space saving container pair. We have put the dog's 18-25 lbs of food in the big bin and treats in the other one stacked on top.
