This thing is awesome. We have two cats and left for a two week trip. It fit an entire small bag full of cat food in the reservoir and still had a little left over when we got back. The portions are adjustable and the times are adjustable. You’re able to control it from your phone and give a manual feed whenever you want. You can also raise the bowls if you like. The media could not be loaded. Sorry for this long message but I rather give as much detail as possible! I’ve never had an automatic feeder before but this is one is good. The feeder plugs in to the wall and connects to your phone through an app and connects to the wifi. I was worried if my wifi goes out that my animals wouldn’t be fed but according to the app it should still maintain the feeding schedule regardless. I haven’t had an issue yet. The app is pretty simple to use and set up. The one thing is the feeding schedule is in military time so it won’t say AM or PM but it’s super easy to figure out. You can set the portion sizing how you’d like and you’re able to set as many feedings as you’d like as well. I have only 3 feeding times a day because that works best for me. I also set to 3 as the potion size as that’s recommended by the veterinarian. Aside from the feeding schedule there are two other options. 1. There’s a “FEED” button on the feeder to press (1 serving at a time), if you’d like. You’re able to lock this feature so the animals don’t figure out how to feed themselves after watching you press the button. 2. From anywhere! You can feed your animals any portion sizing you want. I’ve been hours away from home and still able to feed my animals a snack in between scheduled feeding times. The feeder came with the feeder itself, bowl set ups, and legs that they all rest on. There are 2 different heights for the animals to eat at (in the image I provided that is the tallest height). Also, it has two options of one or two bowls and is easy to change out, if needed. Super easy to clean and haven’t had an issue yet. I’d best recommend this for cats or small to medium sized dogs. No more than about 30 or so lbs. Depending on the breed. ... show more

We’ve had this for a few months now and have not experienced any issues so far. We enjoy that it comes with longer legs to adjust the height. I also appreciate the middle divider piece, though to be honest I wouldn’t say it prevents my greedy cat from trying to steal food from my other cat lol One negative would be that the food pellets sometimes get stuck underneath the dispenser “slides” (where the food comes out). I wanted to like this. It's sleek, has dual bowls, a decent capacity (forn2 small dogs), and the tech to set scheduled feedings. Well, I have learned that my dogs have been starving because it simply doesn't feed consistently. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I work and wanted to depend on this if I can't be home. I have tried cleaning about, shaking it, changing food size (to smaller), resetting it and nothing works. It's hit or miss. I had one that looked a little dated prior to and it worked flawlessly but only had 1 bowl. I'd probably find another. ... show more

Have had this item for more than a month. Have not had any issues. Instructions for setting up were very clear. App is easy to set up and connect. I like the ease of scheduling a feeding time for my fat cats. The recording option is nice to call them to eat.

I wanted to like this feeder as it checked off many boxes for me: 1. Easy to use your own bowls. I prefer elevated ceramic bowls over flat, stainless steel. 2. Large horizontal hopper with easy to see food level checking. 3. Horizontal orientation so feeder can be placed right against the wall. In the end however, feeder could not handle the freeze-dried food as claimed in the product description. The problem encountered was: 1. Food getting mashed into crumbs. 2. Food cycling and nothing, or very little coming out, even though chute was clear. This is caused by poor intake design. Food gets crushed as "propeller" turns and is sometimes compressed to the point that it won't drop into the chute. 3. Food stopping in the chute causing back-ups in the system. This is caused by chute not having a sufficient downward drop angle. After constant pounding and clearing only to have it fail the same day. I have given up on this. It likely works better for you if you are using smaller, harder, kibbles. I have moved on the the PetSafe Smart Feed, which functions much better. ... show more
