I dropped my 6th generation ipad enclosed in this case onto the floor from a counter and, while the ipad is just fine (no moving parts and the case protected the screen), the keyboard has started to have some problems with keys not working, or sticking, or coming off. So I'm back here looking for a replacement. I like the fact that the very sturdy hinge on this case allows me to have the ipad at any angle (so I can use it even while lying on the couch). The backlighting is pretty but I could do without it since I rarely type in the dark. It's also slightly troublesome that, when it has gone to sleep, it can take several strokes of the keyboard to wake it up so I have to pay attention to what I'm typing to see just when the keyboard has started to in fact send keystrokes to the ipad. The battery life is good, and recharges fairly quickly. And the fact that it did such a good job of protecting the Ipad screen when I dropped it is a strong plus. Will probably buy this again after I've looked at other options. ... show more

I have purchased 3 Zagg keyboard cases over the last 5 years because I heard they were the best. Each time, the one that I purchased broke at the hinge area and became virtually unusable. This product has a much more substantial hinge where the devise opens and closes plus additional features that the Zagg case didn’t. I think the one is far and away a superior product. This is a great product, it’s versatile and works well. However, I’m looking for one with a mouse either already on the keyboard or a Bluetooth mouse to connect with the keyboard. This doesn’t offer that option therefore I’m returning it.

I am impressed with this device. Reinventing the use of my 2018 iPad and this has helped. The keys are responsive, quiet but not silent. The illumination on the keyboard is “fun” but will drain battery so I use it judiciously. The cover holds the iPad secure and tilts and pivots with some ‘stiffness’ but the iPad stays where I place it for viewing. I had another cover that was ‘loose’ and the iPad “drifted” and constantly needed nudged back into place. I found the Bluetooth connectivity almost mindless to establish and works consistently. I loved the option of many colors. I would recommend this product. It’s more spendy than others but we’ve all gotten products that look like they were made in a Jr High workshop and this is not one of those. ... show more
