Very cute toy and I had such high hopes for it. It was described as “indestructible “ and my medium sized dog had the back of the animal opened up within 30 minutes. The squeaker and the stuffing were out within an hour. She loves stuffed toys and I was excited that this was going to work for her. I will keep searching. Within 5 minutes of giving our 7 month old beagle/hound mix her new toy, it was destroyed. There was stuffing all over the floor. I do not recommend this toy for tough chewers as it definitely doesn’t stand up to its description. However, the company has been great in trying to satisfy my pup. My 8 lb dogs love to chew off anything hanging from a toy: ears, legs, noses, etc.. This toy is tough and they haven't been able to chew anything off yet. Looking at how it is made and the material, I don't think they will be successful even with their small mouths that get to the smallest places. They like to play fetch with it and chew on it which saves stuff they shouldn't chew on. ... show more

My dog is usually quick to destroy any plush toys that come her way, especially those with a squeaker. I bought this despite knowing the reviews saying it's false advertising, but surprisingly, she loved it enough to not chew it for a long while! Eventually, she did tear it apart, but the fact that it's lasted weeks is more than enough to convince me to buy another one. Okay, I knew this toy, like many before it, would probably not last long. Our dog delights in ripping apart his fabric toys - - which apparently is great fun for him. We always have to provide a fabric toy with the non-fabric (all but indestructable) toys. This is because he becomes frustrated when he cannot tear a toy to shreds. Very quiet. Thought it would make more noise. Seems pretty durable but my shepherd did chew the tail off in about 20 minutes. So far everything else is still attached. Would recommend for a less aggressive chewer.

Not very durable, not sturdy, not indestructible… At least in my experience. My dog, who’s a beagle Shepard mix had the face chewed off in under 3 minutes, and he really didn’t try that hard. But, I’m giving it three stars because he really, really loved that thing until every last piece of stuffing was out of it. I think he’s feeling accomplished now that my living room is totally littered with stuffing and honey Badger bits. If they were $5 each I’d buy 5 more, but $15 for 10 minutes of play isn’t really cost effective. Like I said though, he was very joyful while on his murderous rampage, so, 3 out of 5 just for that!! ... show more

This toy IS for a little more aggressive play. Keep in mind NO PLUSH toy is indestructible. YOU need to teach your dog how to play with the toy, remember they can chew sticks apart. For me - I determine is a toy is good for the specific dog and play type. Some will NEVER get a plush. 1) THis is real good for dogs that want to play rough NOT sit there and chew it to pieces.. Remember thay can chew sticks to pieces. My 30lb Doxie mix chewed the tail off, and the foster puppies play tug hard with zero damage.... 2) THis is ALSO perfect for smaller dogs that want play so tug with it - ie like puppies etc mentioned in bullet one. 3) I will buy another as-long -as the price is not too high. ... show more
