I bought this thinking that I'd be able to play on a console with mouse and keyboard. I was extremely excited when it came in the mail. I had no idea that it would be completely useless. The app for your phone works as expected and it connects to the keymander 2 device via bluetooth as it should. However when trying to configure the device on my PS4 it is completely useless. I have looked up many forums on the keymander website and the only decent advice on any of the forums and support posts is to update the firmware. However - if you try to update the firmware through the phone app it gives me an error and then asks if I'd like to retry. No big deal, I figured I would try to do it on my computer using their software and firmware update tool. Not only does the keymander software not exist on the product page for the keymander 2, but the firmware update tool is completely useless as well. DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT it is a waste of 99 dollars and does not work at all. I want to add onto this that the product support is laughable and the hours you can call are a joke. I can't stress this enough but this device is a waste of money. You are paying 99 dollars for a USB hub that does not even work properly. You are better off buying anything else. Just get the cheap 30 dollar one or get a XIM. Edit: updating this review because I thought maybe my u it was defective or DOA. After getting the new KEYMANDER device I was actually able to update my firmware this time. However my PlayStation only recognized the keymander as a usb hub even after doing everything I could to set this up properly. Upping my review to 2 stars... at least I got the firmware upgraded for my overpriced usb hub.... ... show more

For anyone wondering if this works for you rainbow six siege it does you just need to get the app and comfort your keybinds and get used to new sensitivity but besides that 100 clean and no delay(I’m on Xbox)

It’s an awesome adapter i believe. Way better then spending 120 on a xim. Took me about 20 mins to set it up and I didn't even need a computer to update the firmware. Very smooth gameplay on pretty much any game I have played with it on.

does what it says... easy set up with my XBOX one X... the only issue I have with it sometimes is it's sync upon start up. The keyboard and mouse doesn't come on so I have figured out to to the following in a sequence to get the keyboard and mouse connected again, hence 4 stars... 1. Disconnect power cable from the device (not console) 2. Take out the main USB cable from the console 3. Wait 10 seconds 4. Connect USB power cable(mouse optical LED flashes) 5. Wait at least 30 seconds 6. Connect the main cable back to the console... keyboard and mouse should now be connected. Hope this works for you too if you have this issue. Great product. Very versatile. Using iPhone 7S and Xbox One X. Nice to tweak phone app and see real time results. Played with Razer Turret Gears keyboard and mouse. Also, I can use my Corsair K55 and XINMENG XM-326 mouse. I like how quick you can map the keys on the phone app, such as I did during training on Call Of Duty Warzone. Just downloaded game profile on phone, then open it to see key maps. Click a controller button to assign, then click your keyboard. It happens real time. Very cool. Worked incredibly well with COD Warzone, Battlefield V and other twitch shooters. Barely any delay. Set up was incredibly easy and only took a few minutes. I recommend this device if you're looking to transition from PC or typically play on PC and want to play with your console friends. Cons: There are some games that the K2 doesn't work too well with and that's the Ghost Recon and the Division. It's not really the K2's problem but moreso with the games and the settings. 1) Low voltage occurs but just unplug any usb 's connected to the back of the console and put it in the front. That fixed the issue for me personally but you could also power it through the power outlet for more power. ... show more

Got the keymander 2 in the mail today and couldn't do the firmware update on my pc so I called their customer service. They were very nice and professional! Here are the instructions incase you have the same question: 1) Unplug the keymander from pc 2) hold down both buttons on the keymander 3) with your other hand (while still holding the buttons down) plug in the keymander to the pc 4) continue holding down both keys for 8 seconds after it's plugged in 5) run the firmware update program ... show more

This is way better than controler in my opinion. I know its probley not as good as a pc but its great for me. I dont do online matches i always just play campaigns. And there are some games i found that worked well with keyboard and mouse. Older game thunder wolves is really good wirh k m its a hellicopter game really feels like it was ment for k m. There are some glitches time to time but its worth it to me. I like the key mapping option makes it easy to play this way. The app didn't work with my lg stylo4 wich was o.k i used my old phone a zte blade max and it was compatable. They might fix that in updates.
