  • I am absolutely gobsmacked…so far.
Color: White
So we have been an @pple family for 30+ years. Both my small, handy, @pple keyboards died within a week of each other. I love the little ones because they fit into my bag easily. So I went browsing and found this little gem. For probably a tenth of the price of replacing the @apple one, I now have what amounts to the exact same keyboard. It takes triple As instead of double As, can be turned off to save battery (unlike the @pple which continues to use power till it shuts itself off after however many battery-draining minutes). It paired in a snap. It looks exactly like the @pple keyboard. The tactile sensation and key response is, imo, better than the @pple’s. It’s lighter!! It has exactly the same fn and key command icons which respond perfectly. I can’t think of a downside at the moment, but I will return with an update if anything disappoints me. But for twenty bucks, I can’t be too disappointed if it only lasts a year. ... show more

  • After one month..
Color: White
I wanted to wait and write this review after fully testing out the longevity of this product and I have to say, after a month of use, this product has been pretty sufficient. This is a great product for its price. Nothing too fancy, light weight, and easy connection to my iPad 10th generation, automatic connection after its first pairing. My only minor critique is that it doesn’t fit comfortably in my bag when transporting. Isn’t small enough to fit in my iPad case and the backing doesn’t fold in to make the keyboard flat (these are entirely my fault for not looking closer at the product image however). I haven’t had the batteries die on me yet but I also change them out quite frequently to avoid the breaking of my work flow (a little annoying but it’s fine). Overall, great product and I would recommend if you’re looking for something quick and affordable. ... show more

  • Generally a great all around keyboard, for iOS devices and the AppleTV Gen 4.
Color: White
Updating the review to reflect a more accurate review, originally I posted that it was completely useless under MacOS because it would go to sleep and never wake up. While the keyboard I received did this, Omoton has worked with me and replaced the keyboard and the new one does not have this defect. Big thumbs up to Omoton who has tried hard to make me happy. MacOS (take two) - While the keyboard works almost flawlessly under MacOS, the wakeup speed is fast and does doe what it is supposed to do; the lack of a n Escape key is a problem. I have tried hard to find a way to map the HOME button to an Escape key but was not able to do so, it just isn't seen as any key under MacOS. Generally this is not a problem and the keyboard would be find as it is; as long as whatever applications you are using do not need the ESC key (I'm look at you VIM coders, this is not the keyboard for you then). Windows - Didn't spend a lot of time with it under windows, it is not recommended in general for windows; thus I didn't try too hard to get it to work. iOS (Pad & Phone) - This is where the keyboard shined, worked flawlessly. Work up rapidly, synced to the device without a problem and did great. If this is what you want to use the keyboard for, then this keyboard will be great. It's not expensive, it is well designed. Did everything that I needed it to do under iOS. AppleTV Gen 4 - Synced and just worked. Much like under iOS, it worked perfectly. If there was something that I would change, I would love to see the home button have a switch on the back side (just like the power switch) that allows it to be Escape instead of Home. That way the keyboard would work without a problem for either MacOS or iOS. ... show more

  • UPDATED REVIEW Having problems with this one. Had one before with no problems
Color: White
UPDATE on November 3 My problems with this keyboard have been resolved. The replacement is working perfectly. Amazon replaced it quickly when I complained about the problem and the new keyboard works just as well as the one I owned before I dumped a beer on it. The vendor was also monitoring my situation and quickly offered to replace the defective unit. But Amazon had already taken care of the problem. When I read reviews from people who diss a product because they happened tp get one with a manufacturing defect I get annoyed. Every manufactured product has a small chance of failing. What is important is customer service and how quickly the problem can be resolved. In this case both Amazon and the vendor were on top of the situation as soon as they heard about it. Companies that sell $15 keyboards can not afford many warranty claims. They have to design their products so that the failure rate is very low or they wont make any money. That is why I have had such good experience , with inexpensive electronic devices. They cant afford to build them to mil spec standards, like a satellite that is going to be put in orbit, so there will be occasional failures. In my experience they are few and far between and that's where customer service comes into play. If, in the very unlikely chance, that I get a defective unit, prompt attention to the problem can resolve it painlessly. I had this exact same model for many months before I accidentally destroyed it by pouring a beer on it. When I needed a new keyboard I tried another model what was rechargeable. That seemed like a good idea but the charges did not last nearly as long at the AAA batteries on this keyboard and I had to be somewhere with a USB port when it failed or I was out of business. With this keyboard I just need to keep a couple of AAA batteries with my traveling stuff and I can be back in business in seconds. This is a good keyboard. Its light, easy to pair with devices, the keys have a nice feel (but that is a very personal thing) and the battery life is good. I use it with my phone and tablet. ************************************************ What follows is my initial review I have had this keyboard for a couple of months and am having problems with the repeating characters for several rows of text. If I turn it off and turn it back on the problem goes away for a while. Im going to contact the vendor and see if they can do anything about the problem or if there is something I am doing wrong. I owned one of these previously and it was fine until I dumped a beer on it. ... show more

  • Works well for the price

Connected immediately to my iPad Air M2 2024. Feels functional and responsive. The keyboard itself is small and light, so great for travel. May need to keep the cardboard box it comes with for protection though, the keyboard does feel somewhat fragile.
