  • Great Keyboard
Color: White
Works well. Pairing is straight forward. Uses two AAA batteries. Keyboard layout is identical to my Apple keyboard. It also works with my old "big Mac" (IMAC IOS 10.11.6) which is 10+ years old. If the keyboard lasts only three years, it is worth the $18, hopefully it will last longer.

  • Love this.. but....
Color: Rose Gold
I absolutely love this device. I have had it for two years. I use it at work for my PC. Never had any issues at all, always is a super easy set up, batteries last forever in it. It's light weight. I bought rose gold and color is beautiful. My only issue is, two years later it disconnected from laptop because batteries died and it would not work until I changed the batteries... now it will not reconnect to my PC. Every device once connected to Bluetooth, it gives a PIN to input using the device. When reaching the bluetooth on my worth laptop, there is no PIN to input. I am so sad, because I have used this for 2 years, NO issue, until now. It does however still work perfectly with my apple devices it stayed connected to. Just not my PC. ... show more

  • Good little thing!
Color: Black
This little keyboard was only ever meant to help with typing on my old 2014 iPad, but I have ended up using it 8 hours a day while working from home during the COVID era. I'm a research scientist, and all of my work is code-based, so this baby's gotten a real workout over the five weeks. She's holding up beautifully - I like the action on the keys, they've got a better bounce than a standard MacBook keyboard, in my opinion, while still keeping the keyboard nice and thin and small. I'm also grateful for the small lip at the front which tilts the keyboard upward, just the right amount for me. It does add the tiniest bit of bulk, but this thing's still easily portable. The key size and spacing also seem sufficient for the average user, and again, without adding unnecessary bulk; the full package is perhaps heavier than some contenders, but I honestly prefer a little weight to my electronics, and it's not heavy enough that I'd blame it for my sore shoulders when I take off my backpack at the airport. I'm using the OMOTON connected to a MacBook Pro (+external monitor), so I've gotten good use out of the Mac-specific control keys, like the brightness buttons. I've also had no connectivity problems, although the sleep mode does feel like it kicks in exceptionally quickly when you're on an hour-long telecon every single day. Still an efficient feature, anyway, functioning properly, and the wake-up from sleep mode is almost immediate. (At first I was a bit disappointed not to have a number pad, but I've actually found that I prefer its absence, compared to my usual keyboard at work: it makes the desk space much more compact. Adding the extra horizontal length of a number pad made me really reach for my mouse, way off to the right. I hadn't noticed that before. Seems like bad ergonomics now that I feel the difference of having my mouse right beside me.) I'm incredibly pleased with this little diddy, for as little as I spent on it. I haven't had it toooo long, but I'm a fast typist and I type all day, so given the past month, I think I have a good-quality product here. ... show more

  • Works with Apple TV!
Color: Black
Edit: I've discovered that this works with my Apple TV! No more searching by selecting one letter at a time with the remote. And this keyboard is cheaper than buying a new apple remote! (You'll still need a remote to first connect the keyboard, but once it's working, you can just use the keyboard). One thing I see other reviews complaining about is the auto-off feature. You know what that feature is great for? A keyboard used as a TV remote! You just leave the keyboard turned on, and it will go to sleep when you are not using it. It does take a couple seconds to reconnect - a keyboard icon shows on the screen to let you know it's reconnecting. Original Review I’m writing this review on the keyboard, and my iPhone. This is working fairly well. Pro: It works! Seems to work well, I’m having no problems here. Setup: There’s a little card included with the keyboard, makes it simple to setup. Turn it on, and type a code that it gives you. Takes seconds. Function Keys: There are dedicated keys on the keyboard for functions like volume, brightness, and even to open the normal on-screen keyboard. You can even lock and unlock your phone from the keyboard. Con: It’s a bit noisy. To be fair, I tend to hit my keys pretty hard. I’m learning to hit more lightly, since I’m typing in a library. It’s better on a book, there’s a bit more noise when on a hard tabletop. Now, I don’t mean loud like fire alarm, I mean loud for a keyboard. [EDIT: The keyboard has auto-off] I’d like an auto-off. I don’t see any mention of that, and on-off is a physical slide switch. Maybe turn off after an hour, it doesn’t have to be fast. But I forget to turn things off, and I don’t want that to kill my batteries one mistake. Half my reason for buying this is to have a backup if my laptop battery dies. Unknown: Battery life, durability. I’m just getting started with it. Everything is fine so far. Other Comments: I’ll note that an iPhone can use an external keyboard, and does have some support, like the on-screen keyboard doens’t pop up when you have this keyboard attached. But in general, you can’t do every thing from the keyboard. There are lots of places in IOS where it would make sense to have arrow keys work, like selecting applications and opening them. This doesn’t work, you will be touching the screen a fair amount. This is NOT a flaw in this keyboard, I’m just trying to set expectations for any iPhone external keyboard. It would be great to have a cover for this keyboard, I’m just throwing it loose in my backpack. No problems so far, but I would feel a bit better if there was something to cover the keys. ... show more
