My daughter loves Alexa and Siri and I thought I wouldn’t like this and I didn’t think it was essential , now I think I love it more than her. The speaker has a nice loud smooth sound and it is filtered for children. The morning alarm is amazing it tells the weather, quick brief kids news, a clever joke and of course great tunes to start your day. Bought this for my grandsons room and he loves the design and functionality. He loves to make announcements to all of us letting us know he's awake at 6am. So lovely to hear his voice so early in the morning. When he's not making announcements, he usually asks Alexa to play some games with him or play a song at the loudest possible setting. It’s cute and perfect for my daughter’s room. I didn’t like that with the Amazon kids on, you couldn’t use it as a regular Alexa. For instance, I couldn’t access my Amazon music playlists on it. I had to turn off Amazon kids and now it works like a regular alexa

This is perfect for young kids who enjoy music or having independence. My oldest is 7 and he loves to set his own alarm for school mornings, asks Alexa random questions, and requests his favorite songs. The sound is awesome. Can be very loud, sometimes too loud we have to go in the app and turn down the fun lol. The set up and connectivity was a breeze! We love that we can control his device from our phones as far as setting alarms, sending alerts, or even talking to our kids through the device.
