    • FINALLY!!! The glass slipper of laser cat toys!!!! (????)
I have bought and returned AT LEAST 2 different automatic cat lasers (3+, if I include the multi-activity toys that had lasers as more of an after thought)….and it seems the 3rd(ish) time is a charm!!!!! First of all - the “slow” setting on this one is ACTUALLY slow, for once!! Look, my cat may only be a year old - but he loves his food and doesn’t have the most active of lifestyles. The first two laser’s “slow” settings were CRAZY and impossible for him to even catch up to, much less keep his eye on. The slow settings on the others were pretty much NON-EXISTENT. This one is a PERFECT slow speed….and, really - the other two speeds are exactly how they should be in terms of slow, medium and fast. Also, I’ve noticed they all have a good mix of all 3 at times. MOST importantly, unlike all the others, it doesn’t just move in predictable CIRCLE patterns!! Took me forever to find one that moved in RANDOM patterns. Again, they’re close to perfect for a cat - not totally all over the place - or TOO predictable. Often times my cat will just lie there and watch it in a semi-trance if he’s not feeling to playful. Either way - he’s no longer in my face all day “begging” for me to play with him or entertain him. (Is it normal that my cat does this?! LOL) It’s also QUIET - can’t hear a thing when it’s moving. It’s a lot smaller than I thought it would be - but that works out even better as far as I’m concerned. I don’t think I wanted it to be big. Lastly - it’s durable AF. It fell off the box I put it on (only because it was slanted - but also cuz my cat moved the container). Anyway, since it’s so lightweight and durable, it was nothin’. The body part is actually hollow - so at one point I even put it on an aerosol can (or something similar) for height - and it worked perfectly. Hmm…what else? OH - the size of the actual laser dot is considerably larger than most - so it’s A LOT easier to see during the day. It’s straight forward, durable and had perfect speeds. I am SO happy. I RARELY (if ever) write reviews - even though I should - as they help me a lot. I HAD TO with this. I consider myself a cat toy tester and my cat is the guinea pig of that scenario. We do lots of returns - and we have little success. He’s very vocal/talkative when he wants attention or to be played with (which is ALWAYS) and he HATES being bored…..so I NEED toys like these to keep him busy. Otherwise, I’d get nothing done. There aren’t many cat toys rated above 4 stars - so when I find those - I pay attention. Is your cat like mine? YOU NEED THIS. Two words: LIFE CHANGING. (LOL) ... show more

    • FINALLY A Z PATTERN OF FUN
received today & will update if any changes BUT so far excellent! Finally a Z pattern with zig and zag stops starts slow fast that my cat loves .. AND QUIET! Have tried at least 6 other laser lights only to return all because of boring circulating pattern .. still need to see how battery holds up etc as we received today and happily trying out now .. only issue I did have was head was put on wrong for tilting down .. easy to fix if you look under cat body can squeeze clips together take off & put on correctly or maybe you want it to point up ? Really not an issue ... show more

Love that it can be charged because I had one that required 4 batteries and I was just ‘chomping’ thru batteries. This one has different speeds and comes on every 3 hours when you’re asleep. I think it’s a must have for cats that want to play.

I’ve had similar devices and they worked pretty well so I wanted to give this one a try. It moves a lot slower than I was expecting and honestly doesn’t keep my cats attention for long.
