It is an okay toy. The door on the clasp is very strong, but it needs more hanging things to be enticing for the cat to actually play with. My 2 year old cat is not thrilled.

I'm giving this thing a 3 out of 5 because of a few things. Pros: This thing provides hours of entertainment for me when I have it up and attached to the wall. I love watching my cats play, but the feathers served more use than the hanging device. Cons: Despite loving watching my cats jump frantically for a feather or worse, grabbing it and trying to walk away with it, its come to my realization that this is a problem. The dings in my door arch tell that story, even the claw marks from them trying to get to it and failing. It was difficult for me to hang up the device in the archway, because I had to really try and force it open. Despite that, the cats have gotten more play from the loose feathers, than the actual hanging contraption itself. ... show more

Ok, so I’ve already had to purchase two of these because this is my Spooks’ favorite toy!! She really gets it moving and gets it bouncing so high that I’ve had to “rescue” it from on top of my door (see picture) haha! I love watching her play with it because I know she’s not bored. Just make certain there isn’t anything around it that it can get stuck onto (I’ve moved candles and other decorations from two tables on either sides of the door that are within reach that the toy used to get stuck in, that she couldn’t get it untangled from). I just check on it every once in a while throughout the day to make certain she hasn’t got it caught in anything she hasn’t been able to “uncatch” it from. The only reason I have had to replace it was because of her playing with it so much, not because of anything wrong with the product. The elastic simply wore out and the little animal broke off and I only replaced it after I could no longer keep reattaching it tot he elastic :). She went a week or so without it while I ordered a new one, etc and is thrilled to not k my have it back, but to have the bounciness back (newness). The media could not be loaded. this toy doesn’t seem to grab the attention of my kitties but it’s a good toy regardless, i’d say it’s safe and easy to use and i like the colors :)
