It's a bit too soon to comment on the durability of the item - otherwise I would give it 5 stars. For now it seems well designed, with a durable key type, a slider to keep freezing rain out of the lock body. Most importantly - it's the right mix of sturdy but not too heavy, plus being able to order in three different lengths is great. Purchased this lock to secure my E-Bike. To me this lock was a compromise between a regular bike lock and a motorcycle lock. Bought the 4' version and am glad I did. The lock seems heavy duty and has a nice protective cover to prevent scratches. It is heavy at 3+ lbs. Time will tell how long it lasts and whether it keeps my E-Bike secure.
