We live in a hot environment so this bag is perfect to keep in the trunk for Costco trips as it takes up barely any room but unfolds to such a large rectangle size that it is perfect for club size purchases!!

    • decent insulation but the bag is much flimsier than expected and has no real structure
This is a review for the Micanlo 22x15x14 Insulated Food Delivery Bag (ASIN: B0D94FQNYT). The price was $16.90 when I ordered it. This bag is big and is pretty good at keeping food/groceries hot or cold for a decent amount of time. But I had higher hopes. The bag itself is much thinner and flimsier than I expected and hoped. The bag has almost no structure to it and does not maintain that box/rectangular shape shown in the listing pics unless it is filled with objects that will support that shape. If set on the ground or a table with nothing in it, the bag will collapse onto itself. The sides are not sturdy enough to hold it up on its own. The straps/handles are also uncomfortable, especially with a heavier load. Carrying a heavy load by the handles any distance greater than the street to the front door will quickly make you wish you were wearing padded gloves. But my biggest complaint is the insulated insert piece. It is pretty much useless to provide any structure or meaningful bottom to the bag. Since the bag is too flimsy to have a structure to hold its shape, anything you put in it without the bottom insert will just sink to the middle of the bag. You’d think that the insert would solve that problem by laying it horizontally on the bottom to give it structure and bottom strength to prevent items from sagging down. But it doesn’t. The insert just folds in half, so any weight placed in the bag will cause it to do essentially the same thing it does without the insert – gravity will cause the items to slide to the middle causing the insert to just fold upward like a V. The listing makes the claim that placing the insert horizontally on the bottom “stabilizes irregularly shaped items and prevents them from tipping over.” That’s just not accurate. At least not with the insert I received. Sadly, without the insert being one rigid piece or capable of being locked in the unfolded position, it serves no useful purpose for me. I can imagine some use for it as a partition to keep certain food items separated, but again, there is no structure to the bag, so the only way it will hold its box shape to keep things separate is by filling it with items shaped like a box. I will keep this in the trunk of my car and use it for bringing home groceries that need to be kept cold long enough to be refrigerated, but don’t see it being used for anything beyond that light duty. ... show more

The insulated food bag I received is black and looks just like the photos in the product page. I live in Phoenix Arizona and so this is going to help keep cool perishables and frozen foods much longer while transporting. Thrilled it easily fits frozen pizza and giant size cereal boxes as shown in the photo I attached and both are too large to fit well in the cheap thin store provided plastic bags. Overall I find the quality acceptable. Commercial grade seems like a stretch looking at the fabric and overall construction but certain for occasional consumer use I am confident it will hold up a few years. Looking forward to my next trip to the grocery or club store better equipped. Based on the price for practical use I recommend giving it a try. ... show more

I thought this bag was black but I received a red one. Doesn't really matter to me because I am just going to use it for my frozen grocery items in the car. My frozen and refrigerated items will last longer in this bag rather than just using the plastic grocery bags alone. This is a huge bag that can hold plenty of whatever you need to keep cold or hot. It even comes with a double insulated separate bag that can be placed inside or not. This bag has double zippers around the top and handles on all 4 sides to make it super easy to carry or pull. It fits perfectly on my car backseat to be accessible quickly. Food items do stay much colder with this bag than without it. Glad I have it! ... show more
