I read so many pregnancy pillow reviews before purchasing this one and was overwhelmed trying to pick the right one. At 12 weeks, I started having back pain when waking up in the morning. Throughout my pregnancy, the back pain just became a constant and I would be sore basically all day everyday. This pillow was not a miracle pillow but I'm not sure any pillow could've fully relieved the amount of back pain I was experiencing. As my belly got bigger, I was using the pillow to wedge under for more support, and it is really comfortable having the C shape to wrap your legs around. I was glad to have this shape vs a U shape because I used the opening of the C as my "exit" to get in and out of bed. This came in handy especially at the end when I was getting out to pee every hour. I am 5'3" and gained about 25lbs during pregnancy. The length was good for me but I think if you are taller, the fit would definitely be different and the bottom C portion could potentially be annoying. I think my biggest complaint is that the stuffing would easily get bunched up, based on where my legs or belly were, so every time I washed the pillow case I would try to give it a good fluff to redistribute. Having read the millions of pregnancy pillow reviews before this one, I would definitely still recommend this pillow and buy it again if I needed another. ... show more

Where do I begin? I’ve purchased a lot of different body pillows. You name it I’ve probably bought it. This one is HANDS DOWN THE BEST! Their wasn’t one place that this pillow didn’t contort to. The cover is extremely soft and almost has a velvety feel to it. The actual pillow DOES NOT GO FLAT!! I’ve been using it for almost a year now and it’s still as plump and plush as the day I purchased it. The cover comes off for easy cleaning. I have also washed the pillow (I don’t know if it will fit in all machines because it’s kind of big but I was able to fit it in mine which it’s a front loader if that helps.) I thought the shape of it was going to be weird but it literally hugs you better than your great grandma on Christmas morning. This is a must have if pregnant. Heck. Even when you’re not pregnant. I purchased this pillow at the end of my first trimester and although I probably didn’t need it that early, it was super comfortable to use from the very beginning. I haven’t been using it daily but it’s been especially helpful on days when I have back pain (use the long part of the C against my back for support). This pillow is wonderful. Soft. perfect support..could use more filler but still works well. I had bought the U shape before this one, I hated it. The U was flimsy and never stayed on the bed. The C shape is so much better and only moves if I move it. So worth the buy.

I bought this c pillow on a recommendation. When I pulled it out of the package I noticed that some areas were lacking fullness and filling. I wanted to see if it would work itself out as it sat and expanded over the next few days. It's been about 48hrs now and although it's fluffed & expanded, those empty areas are still noticeable compared to the rest. A little extra filling g would help these areas very easily. I wish it came with extra to fill in these gaps, or to adjust firmness. Outside of that, the pillow does seem great. The cover does smell so I suggest washing first. ... show more

Its very large covering her whole queen bed, she uses it for a body pillow. if you want to sit up in bed and read it gives perfect back support and feels comfortable. its still in perfect condition and almost a year old at daily use. So, a ton of reviews are of sadly flat looking pillows. And yes, upon arrival and unpacking, my C-shaped pillow from Insen was a bit lacking in the fluff department. HOWEVER, I read the enclosed instructions that clearly stated: let the pillow breathe for 48 hrs. Day 1, I unpacked it and then I placed a soft blanket on my bedroom floor and let it do its thing. Visibly fluffier on Day 2, so I flipped it over and left it alone for the rest of the second day and night. Day 3: I have a perfectly fluffy pillow that I actually had to STUFF into the accompanying pillowcase. This pillow is awesome, and I’m NOT even pregnant! I’m actually recovering from a hysterectomy, and I wish I had pre-ordered this pillow instead of those stupid bed pillow wedges (which I sent back to Amazon and used the refund to buy this fantastic pillow with $25 left to spare). So, in closing, let the pillow (without the pillow case on it) breathe. And every week or two, leave it in the sunshine! (Also sans pillowcase). It’s great to re-fluff it again and sunlight also kills germs! Plus you should probably be washing the pillow case!! Seriously, it is worth it. The ONLY issue I’ve encountered is that the pillowcase’s zipper is not covered by a cloth lip. So I can feel the (plastic) zipper with my arms or legs depending on how I’m positioned. This doesn’t really bother me and it’s worth the otherwise excellent comfort, support, and pain relieving factors! I have degenerative disc disease in my C and L spine, as well as nerve impingement, sciatica, and rheumatoid as well as osteoarthritis. I have not taken any pain medication since buying this pillow. I'm a senior who suffers from lower back pain and bad knees and it was something my youngest had recommended trying. I've had this pillow now for a few months and I can honestly say it helps. My lower back isn't as painful upon waking and my knees haven't locked up me in the middle of the night. Like the feeling of cuddling it gives me. I do have my moments after washing the cover putting it back together, and turning over from right to left side and back again does require some effort to adjust so it's comfy again.
