These blackout curtains are exactly what I wanted for my guest room with a window on the westside. It gets all the afternoon sun and heat so blackout curtains were a must. They significantly cut the light and heat in this room. I threw them in the dryer on wrinkle release for about 5 minutes and that did wonders. I might still run a steamer over them. I measured wrong and actually need 2 sets to do the clip rings that came with them to fit this window. The beige is a true beige, maybe leaning slightly on the greyeige but that's what I wanted. You can hang them like I did with no bunching at the top or there is a slot below this to give that bunching look at the top OR you can clip the rings on for that Pottery Barn dupe look (I'll do later). I wanted similar linen curtains from Pottery Barn and needed 6 panels (4 for this door and 2 for another) my total was over $700. Then I found these and they look super similar. The only difference is these do not have the French pleat at the top but I’m certain I can maybe make that work with the right hooks but either way it was not worth the insane increase in price. I was able to get all of these for $150 and it still looks. Super luxurious and linen is heavy and it is a great quality. Highly recommend. These are the oatmeal color. ... show more

I think these are THE BEST blackout curtains I’ve been able to find. They are so thick but look lightweight and airy. These fotos were taken with FULL evening west setting sun and you can clearly see the the difference they make. The price for TWO panels is also unbeatable. I think my onlllyyy issue was that they did arrive smelling heavily of plastic but I threw them in the washer and let them air dry over night and problem solved. Not even a hint of the unpleasant smell. All that’s left is to steam them and my little project will be perfect. ... show more

I gave these a 4 instead of a 5 due to how stiff they are. They do not puddle like the stock images show and they are very wrinkly. They feel plastic-y due to the blackout lining. I think if they had an option to not have the blackout it would be better for most people, or at least me. Washing to soften isn’t an option as reviews have said the stitching comes out and/or the blackout lining tears. They are heavy duty, they do keep light out if that’s what you need, and they are very pretty. I just am wishing that they had been that thick but flowy option the stock images portray. We had them hooked and hung before I was really realizing how stiff they are, plus I was tired of looking for cost effective drapes that were the right length so they get to stay and I’m hoping over time they do soft a bit and the wrinkles fall out. Instructions say you can iron them but I’m nervous to do that or steam as like I stated, they feel a bit plastic-y/rubbery. ... show more

Purchased a total of 5 sets, all sets came with the proper amount of ring clips. 3 of the 5 packages actually had an extra ring clip. Ordered beige to replace my drop cloth curtains (that I loved) to help with keeping my living room and dining room darker/cooler in the summer months. I was worried they would be too greige as that’s what most reviews say but they are a true lighter beige color. I’ve only ever seen blackout curtains have the metal grommets and in my opinion look very cheap…these look much nicer and elegant with the ring clips. Will defiantly be ordering more to replace all my bedroom blackout curtains with grommets. ... show more

I wasn't sure what to expect from these... I have tried other blackout curtains from similarly priced comparable companies, and they always end up looking ridiculously cheap while also being great at blackout. I wanted sometime that looked great and worked well. One review complained they come "too wrinkled"... apparently, they have never experienced 100% real linen drapes out of the packaging because no amount of ironing will do it lol.. these came out with some wrinkles, but after a good ironing on the wool setting with steam they came out nearly wrinkle free, which I found shocking.. they are a nice muted beige.. they are not light gray as some have complained, but they are not a warm beige either.. for me its a perfect middle ground. For those wondering about the texture... they have a nice weight to them that real linen curtains do not have so they hang well for blackout especially... now to the feel of them.. ok they feel nothing like linen... you can tell they are a high quality polyester when you touch them... but how often are people running their hands over your curtains that aren't you... and who really cares... it doesn't feel bad... Even better they have no odor to them as many poly items often do... But the truly important part is how do they look visually... and this is where these really earn high marks... They look so good... I have them in a bedroom with walls slightly darker from the same color palette and it creates a wonderful peaceful environment in my bedroom...
