These appear to be made of quality material, with one side made to reflect heat. They don't block out "100%" of the light. There is a window to the left in the photo that isn't covered, but you can still see light above coming through. It should be noted, these will cover about half of the window they measure for. These two total 100", but by the time you out them on a rod, we needed two sets on each side to be able to cover the 100" window......hence the window to the left in the photo that is uncovered still. We bought two packs. (200" total) and needed them both for the 100" window. ... show more

I have a bedroom with a full sized entire wall window and it gets HOT in there. These curtains not only help with the hot sun getting in but also with the temp. They look very nice and really do stop the light from creeping in. Highly recommend these.
