Description

The Innovo Deluxe Fingertip pulse oximeter shows your measured SpO2 and Pulse Rate on a high quality OLED screen (with six multidirectional display choices) and come with two critically acclaimed features, the Plethysmograph and Perfusion Index (PI), that will improve the reliability of the readings dramatically. Each wave corresponds to a heartbeat and the amplitude to the amount of blood detected in your blood vessels. When the height of the wave amplitude no longer fluctuates (as shown like the figure above), this means that the pulse oximeter is now optimized and you may now take the readings. Meanwhile, the PI conveniently informs you of the strength of your pulse. If the PI value is less than 0.2%, this means that your hands are too cold or improperly positioned in the pulse oximeter. Simply warm your finger and reposition it so that it is right under the LED lights. No more second guessing if the readings are reliable or why the pulse oximeter is not giving a reading. Using a vastly improved sensor, the Innovo deluxe pulse oximeter can also now correct for small movements, allowing more versatile usage. Comes with a lanyard and 2 AAA batteries so that you can use the pulse oximeter right out of the box. The oximeter might not work on kids or adults with small fingers. • This oximeter does a great job of providing important information
When I got tested for COVID-19, I noticed that the nurse used a finger clamping device which I was not familiar with, and asked questions so that I could understand the medical functions that this little contraption performs. They called it a Pulse Oximeter. It turns out that the main function is to read the oxygen level in the bloodstream. The nurses’ understanding pretty much ended there—so I went home to study up. The first thing I noticed were how affordable these gadgets were; it was VERY surprising! I read on to find out that the clever compact device actually uses a complex light diode arrangement that measures your heart rate, showing both the number of beats per minute, as well the demonstration of the pulse in a wave-form which visually depicts the strength of the blood flow. And all of this is backed up with a percentage reading called a “Perfusion Index.” I started checking my pulse on a regular basis, and noticed that my pulse rate was often quite low. I notified my doctor, and he had me come in for some tests. Lo and behold, it turned out I needed a pacemaker! I had it installed 3 days ago, and I’m back at home and already feeling much better. What started out as a curiosity ended up with this little gadget playing a part in getting me to the doctor’s office for an unnoticed problem. I went back into Amazon yesterday to by another one of these for my brother—who has been using oxygen around the house. But he has no idea what his oxygen levels are; he just uses it “when [he] feels like it.” And more importantly, he doesn’t measure his vital signs—so he has no idea of what his heart rate is, or the strength of his pulse. Don’t get me wrong, this doesn’t replace a sphygmomanometer (the wrist or arm cuff that measures Systolic and Diastolic blood pressure); but it does provide a super-convenient way of checking your oxygen and heart rate data—and is small enough to leave on your desk without it eating up any space. Plus that, it’s also a great conversation piece! 😊 Bottom line is that the unit I bought from INNOVO (their Deluxe Pulse Oximeter) may have saved my life. I had already performed my due diligence in my original comparison shopping—but I can assure you that this is a top-notch, “state-of-the art” quasi-medical device that you can rely on for quality and accuracy. I like the “cool-blue” color readout much better than the alarming red offered by other companies. When you pop open the box, and hook up the included lanyard, you’ll see that the professional overall appearance of the INNOVO has a classy look which you will be proud to own. And of course, it works perfectly! ... show more

  • Works well ... mostly
It's worked pretty well though would glitch every now and then where it wouldn't read my pulse. That's unfortunately been happening more often for some reason - batteries were fine. Comfortable on the finger, nice lanyard.

  • It works as designed, and is clear and convenient to use.
The product is easy to use and has a very good graphical display. I monitor pulse and blood oxygen regularly, both at rest and while exercising, to provide extra information to my health care providers.

  • Great product!
It does what it’s supposed to, and the quality seems decent. The design is user-friendly, however, there are a few aspects that could be improved which would make it even better. That being said, it’s a solid product for the price, and I would consider recommending it to others. With a few minor tweaks, it could be truly excellent. ... show more
