Short Version: Christmas gift, back and knee problems, high blood pressure, easy assembly, works wonders. Long Version: I bought this for my husband as a late Christmas present. He has struggled with back problems for years. I got tired of hearing his daily complaints, and when it started affecting his job and pain was running down his legs, I bribed him with some adult favors (T.M.I?) to finally go and get an MRI. I had a better chance of winning the billion dollar lottery than getting him to go to the doctor, so hey, sometimes you gotta hit below the belt ;) He was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and acute arthritis in his shoulders and hips. He's 45 and I'm 36. But enough about us, let's get to the table. Packaging The packaging was great and the pieces were secure. No damage or problems whatsoever. Assembly The instructions weren't great, but my husband is a carpenter and mechanically inclined and he was able to assemble it quite easily. If it would have just been me, I might have had some issues, but together we had it down. It comes with some wrenches, but if you have your own, it's best to use them. The ones that come with it aren't the greatest and bend easily. We put it together in about 30 mins, could have been a little faster but the kids just had to 'help'. I'm pretty sure it folds up, but I haven't used that feature yet . We use it every day, sometimes twice a day, so we haven't need to fold it up. The Inversion Table First impressions of the table are wonderful. The table was sturdy and I didn't feel any discomfort or safety issues using it. My husband LOVES it. He said it's done wonders for his back and I can tell. Before I purchased it, he could barely move at times. His legs would give out randomly and sometimes he'd wince and just sit on the ground in pain. (He was a little more dramatic than that but he may read this.) I was hesitant to get the table at first because he has high blood pressure and I've heard that you shouldn't use these if you have high blood pressure. And his BP is crazy high, many times both numbers are 3 digits. He always blamed his high blood pressure on his high pain level. So, we've been using it together and we've been going slow. (Please take it slow if you have high blood pressure. It still works.) The available inversion increments are 20, 40, 60, and 80. We haven't gone past 20 yet. Even at the lowest level he's seen amazing results. We started using it 2 minutes at a time for a couple of weeks and even though I don't have back problems (knock on wood), I feel great after a couple of minutes on it too. It's so relaxing. He's 6 ft tall and I'm 5'8 and I usually don't adjust it from his level and it feels fine for me. I've read a lot of complaints about the feet and ankle holds on inversion tables, but since we haven't gone past 20, we haven't had any problems, but if we ever make it to 80 I'll update. We are now using it at 4 minutes each still at the lowest increment and we are both loving the results. We'll move up to 40 soon for 2 minutes and continue to slowly increase our incline. Between using this table and a Turmeric supplement, my husband is 90% pain free and his BP is finally normal. Bottom line: Great price, great results, fast shipping, love love love it. Worth the price for sure, it helps my back and circulation. It's adjustable for many heights and holds your ankles securely. Very easy to use and helps relax joints and muscles. I try to do it for a few minutes multiple times a day, especially if I want to pop my back afterwards.

This is an excellent product for the price. It took a bit of assembly time, over an hour and a half, but all the parts were there and everything fit fine. The table is very comfortable and easy to use. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is the way it secures your ankles/legs. There is quite a bit of pressure on your lower shins which is very uncomfortable. If the U-shaped holders were only 1” longer at the bottom it would resolve this problem because it would make contact with the top of the shoe. I might end up adding some rubber strips to the top of the Footrest to alleviate the height issue. ... show more

Purchased the Innova Inversion Table back in February of 2024 and the table has been helpful and works well. Multiple adjustment points, good back relief and muscle stretch, and easy to follow directions. A little small on the total height. If you're tall or large, this may not be as comfortable. Easy to use and you feel locked in and safe once upside down. Pros: Easy to follow directions (and well packaged); sturdy; helps stretch out the back. Cons: Not meant for all types of people; Lumbar cushion isn't helpful; can only use for a short period of time. ... show more

No need to pay more ! Innova Model ITX9688 My doctor recommended my “trying out” inversion therapy, for my diagnosis of low-back problems, including bulging discs and spinal stenosis. Not being sure if an inversion table would work for me, I shopped for a “budget” model on Amazon – just to try it out. All Reviews Led To INNOVA ! I ordered the ITX9688 with the Extended Ankle Lever, and the model with the short ankle lever arrived . . . INNOVA Customer Service to the Rescue ! They came to my immediate rescue and took care of all of the update parts – bringing my table up to the ITX9688 Specs ! They were a true pleasure to work with, and I was SOLD on this product, even before I began using it. As a senior Mechanical Design Engineer, I looked at the quality of design and materials used for this product, and I was very impressed with both. The Table requires Assembly – and came very well packaged, including excellent assembly instructions, and all of the required hardware, carefully laid out to an assembly board, which already has the specific hardware items packed & labeled, according to the corresponding assembly instructions page – The Hardware Board also came with the required assembly tools – making this a; Open the Package > Read The Instructions > Assemble following the very easy to understand instructions – using the corresponding hardware items – there are clear pictures showing everything. For those reviewers who said the assembly process was confusing or difficult . . . Well . . . If you actually read the very simple and well laid out instructions – yes – I took my time - - and it went together beautifully. Now, I have a full mechanical shop with a very large tool inventory – but I chose to assemble the table using the supplied tools from Innova – I just wanted to see if it could be done using only Innova supplied materials. No Problem – Anyone who takes the time to read and follow the supplied instructions and materials, will be rewarded with a very nice assembled table. Even those with minimal mechanical skills can do this, they just may need to take a little more time . . . “It’s worth it” – Just be patient – and if you run into a problem - - You can rely on their fantastic customer support team. I began using the table – Setting The Balance Pivot Point was a simple process – starting by setting to your height – trying the table out – then making some sleight and easy adjustments to allow for personal body-weight-distribution. I was warned to not attempt full inversion – but go slowly – as my doctor recommended work up to full inversion. He wanted me to start off nearly horizontal, and each week, adjust the very easy Inversion Angle Knob, and each week, I increased the inversion angle, finally arriving at full inversion. Doing the process slowly, is also a great way for your ankles to get used to being held and supporting your body weight. I have read reviews of some customers complaining of the ankle system being uncomfortable ! Well, for me, by the time I progressed to full inversion, I felt like I was being very well secured, and had no discomfort. Yes, I can see if some users are impatient, and try to start off with full inversion, their ankles may not feel very comfortable – Well – Out of the Blue – you hanging upside down – held by your ankles – of course this is an unusual position and of course, it may feel uncomfortable – My advice – Take it slow – let your body and ankles get used to the very easy system to use, and there shouldn’t be any ankle comfort issues – Tip – I find that keeping the Ankle System slightly loose, instead of being tightly clamped to your legs, aids tremendously to my comfort. I enthusiastically recommend this product, especially from Innova. It's a great table from an excellent company with a high build quality which will last.
