The built quality is great, the instructions and assembly were okay, it took about an hour to assemble. Folds up okay but also super awkwardly, the bed has to be lifted and out of balance to minimize its overall footprint Getting back up from being upside down can be dangerous (or impossible) for some people. My (not a Doctor) user impression: The principle behind it's function is a little murky for me: I have bulging disc's, I have used traction for months at a chiropractor: this is comparable to that, but it is less comfortable if on a steep inclining or going upside down since my feet holding my entire weight and blood pools in my head. But the results after a minute are pretty similar to chiropractors bazillion dollar machine, settle back upright has some discomfort from the pressure being reapplied to the discs so I know they are being stretched and decompressing. I haven't noticed a ton of relief or improvement in my condition from using this, [or the chiropractic traction] but if I have been sitting too long, and try to stand up as my back muscles tighten, strain and spasm preventing my spine from proper alignment, this will help me stretch and relax those muscles so I can leave the machine standing straight and upright. That assistance lasts until I sit down for a while a agian or do something to strain and tighten thise muscles again. After aligning my back on this machine, I can then go for a walk without that twisted up tight back, and the walking with a corrected vertically aligned spine, seems to help my symptoms, so: I would recommend this machine overall, but caution people against thinking gives any miraculous benefits on its own. ... show more

I purchased this inversion table after researching several brands and types. I received it just 3 days after ordering. Though at first intimidating, the assembly was very easy and the instructions were among the best and most clearly-written instructions I've ever encountered for assembling such things. It took me about 2 hours to assemble alone with the tools provided, but probably could have been faster if I'd used a socket/ratchet set wrench and a helper. It is stable and sturdy, very comfortable to use, and very simple to use. It goes to full 180 degrees of inversion if desired. I've only had it a few days so I'm great at just 135 degrees (45 degrees below flat) right now. I don't plan to fold it up, but if desired, it will fold down to about 76 inches long by about 14 inches high (with the leg/foot assembly removed). Bottom line: I am very pleased with this purchase so far, and am happy with the fit/finish, appearance, sturdiness, and ease of use. ... show more

Two doctors recommended that I consider in an inversion table, as I have been dealing with Sciatica for over 3 years, and recently developed constant lower back discomfort, which the doctors advised me was the start of Stenosis. I had to withdraw from all physical activity, fearing that I would hurt my back even more. After putting it together, which I did in 3 phases, over two days, Oh, I'm 75, and yes my back was hurting. I gave the inversion table a very cautious first try at 45 degrees for about 20 seconds. I was truly amazed at how much improvement that little bit of stretching brought to the discomfort I had been feeling in my lower back. Several neighbors and reviewers advised me to go slow... a little bit every day over a long time period, will produce more sustainable results. I LOVE this table!! This is the first inversion table I have ever owned and it has helped tremendously so far! I have sciatica, spinal stenosis, herniated discs, my lower lumbar is toast. This time of year, as it gets colder the arthritis sets in and I am in so much pain, nothing helps. I refuse to be on meds and I am at the point that the docs recommend me for a spinal fusion. I am doing everything to avoid this surgery and have been searching for less invasive solutions. With all the pain I have been in for years it have been immobile and sedentary for far too long. I have gained weight and with that comes all the things; I now have knee issues, a shoulder impingement, and whatever else. This machine has helped with pain relief in all the areas that have kept me down for so long!! Assembly was not bad at all. The directions are a tad confusing but I also had a 5 year old and a dog making noise and pestering the crap out of me during assembly so I had to do it in smaller increments of time. Could have had it done in an hour if they would have left me alone lol You can also find a YouTube vid that will show assembly fairly quickly. It seems sturdy enough, I haven't toppled over yet. The foot and ankle support is comfortable. There were complaints about how uncomfortable that unit was on other inversion tables, but this one is comfortable enough for me. I have already recommended this device to family and friends that I know have struggled with spinal issues. Great for realignment! Delivered on time. Took about 1 hr. to put together & set up. Nuts & bolts packaged for each step. The pin for the angle change is safer than a strap. I go on it 2 times a day. It has helped my back a lot. The Neighbor tried it out & liked so much that she bought one just like mine. The padded board makes it more comfortable than just a plastic board. Very well built. Definitely worth the money. You're not paying for the name. ... show more
