I ran out of face mask and was excited to give this one a try. I've used it twice now, and it has left my skin feeling soft and looking nourished. So far, the mask has not gotten super dry, tight, and crumbly on me like some mud masks do. I see this as a positive, as I'm able to let this mask sit for a little bit longer before I have to wash it off. Some mud masks get really tight and almost uncomfortable, but I didn't have that experience with this one. For skincare products, I look for natural ingredients -- no artificial fragrance. So, when I try a new product, I'm always worried I won't like how it smells or that I'll find the fragrance too overpowering. According to the label, this mask is scented using only lavender oil. I enjoy the fragrance of this mask but wish it was maybe 25% less strong. Overall, I'm happy with this mud mask and will continue using it. It's a pretty large quantity of mask, so I think it'll last me quite a while. ... show more

Okay, so this is my first time trying any kind of face mask (I know—what rock have I been living under, right?) Anyway. This was my first mud mask experience and it was surprisingly good. First, I put a small amount on my skin to make sure I didn't have any kind of unfortunate reaction to anything in it and when that went well I continued by quickly rinsing and dabbing my face off. I applied the mask, which has a very interesting but not overpowering scent, and began my ten minute wait. Only moments after applying the gunk, I felt a cool sensation spread under the clay. It was nice. Then it was time to rinse off with warm water.. and this is where I learned how stubbornly clay can stick to your face. Eventually, I got it all off and despite the struggle to remove it, my face felt great. An hour later? It still felt great. I'm very happy with it and would definitely recommend it for those looking for a lightly scented, refreshing face mask. ... show more

I occasionally use a clay mask for my self care days. This mask is pleasant, with a nice mild scent. Goes on easily, and tingles a bit while it dries. Washes off with warm water and a washcloth. A nice addition to my self care regiment.

This smells and feels amazing! Love this mud mask for making me feel tingly, fresh and clean! Works great for combating blackheads and big pores. I love the smell too! TIP: Apply and leave on for a few minutes longer before washing off!

This mask is great! It was really easy to apply, with clear instructions. Washing it off took a bit of effort, but was much easier with a soft washcloth. I often find that mud masks are too drying, but not this one. My skin felt very clean, while also nourished and hydrated after just one use. This mask has a really strong smell. However it dried nicely and didn’t itch or burn my sensitive skin. I feel nice and smooth but definitely needed a really thick moisturizer afterwards. Definitely did a good job pulling the gunk out of my pores.

This Dead Sea mud mask is very nice! It goes in smooth and makes your skin feel good while it is on. I would say that once it dries and you are ready o wash it off, use a washcloth. It makes it much easier. After using the mask my skin felt clean, refreshed and hydrated. This would make a nice gift!
