  • Handy little incubator
This egg incubator with automatic egg turning is such a handy little gadget! I’ve tested it out, and it comes up to temperature quickly and holds it steady without much fuss, which is so important for hatching success. The automatic turning feature is a big plus—it’s nice knowing I won’t have to worry about manually rotating the eggs. It’s compact but seems like it’ll be just right for a small batch of eggs next spring. Can’t wait to see it in action with some little chicks on the way! ... show more

  • 4.5 Stars
This one has a nice compact footprint that isn't going to take up much space. 10 at a time is about a slow as one can do/be about it, but more than a couple dozen can be too much, depending on the plan/program. Trying to decide to start again with peepers again or fertile eggs was bugging me, so I decided on a bit-of-both plan; 25-30 beaks, 1 or 2 roosters, is more than enough for what I want and need. If I decide to expand later on, I can always just get another unit and use 2. I've battled with a few of these that just don't cut the mustard, but this one is (nearly) exact as the one we had on the farm, it just had 2 more spaces, so I'm expecting for this one to work out much better than the cheapy all-plastic units. Getting my eggs is still a few weeks out, so we'll just have to wait and see. I have no reason to suspect this unit won't be a little champ in its own right, if not - I'll update accordingly. ... show more

  • Looks Like A House And Even The Lights Come On
This is one of my favorite incubators. The light on the chimney is a candling light that holds the egg so you can see inside it. Then, there is a light on the inside, too. The vents open up but look like little planters outside of a house. They help control humidity. The dividers on the inside can be adjusted to hold bigger or smaller eggs. You get a bright and precise digital readout on the top. It reads the temperature, humidity, days left, and time left till it rotates the eggs again. It's a great price to boot. This thing is fabulous and an excellent incubator for beginners or children. They can use these in school, too, to teach about chickens. ... show more

  • Easy to setup.
This incubator looks really cute. It was quick to get it setup. The heat looks like it is holding well. The turner is working great. I really like the candler built right into this to quickly check the eggs and get them back inside. Overall I am happy with how this is working and happy to try it out and see how well it hatches. ... show more

  • Good Features; Bad Heat Distribution; Questionable Auto-Turner
For the price, this incubator comes with some nice features not found on other similarly priced units: humidity window, temperature control, accurate humidity and temperature sensors within 1 degree, and day counter. However, its biggest flaw is the uneven heat distribution despite having a fan. The edges of the incubator is 2-3 degrees hotter than the center. This isn't impossible to work with, but your eggs will be unlikely to hatch at the same time. If this doesn't deter you from buying this, then make sure you account for this by adjusting the temperature for the eggs on the edges. If you set the thermostat to 99.5, the edges could be as high as 103, which is enough to potentially kill your eggs. The sensor probe is at the center, so subtract 2-3 degrees from the readout and your eggs on the edge should be good. Your eggs at the center will be slightly cooler, but a few degrees below optimal will not harm your eggs (might slow them down a day or so, though), but too hot and they are done. Also, the automatic egg turner on this only rocks them back and forth once every 60-180 minutes depending on your setting and doesn't actually turn them. It works by rotating an off-center pin to slide the egg tray forward, rolling the eggs forward, and then it slides the egg tray back, returning the eggs to the same position. You will likely need to do some manual turns with this incubator. It really only gets 2.5 stars for the features and accurate sensors, but bad heat distribution and egg turning. ... show more

  • Okay so far
The media could not be loaded. This is my Amazon Vine review for the Incubators for Hatching Eggs - Ideal All Ages | Egg Incubator with Automatic Egg Turning and Humidity Control - Integrated Egg Candler - 10 Eggs - Okkobi M10. My only other egg incubators are our trusted hens, lol, and a Mana Pro. I want to see how well this Okkobi M10 egg incubator hatches fertilized eggs. I love the simplicity of this smaller incubator. I love their colorful website "Easy Observation" illustration for days 4-7 Visible embryo, 8-9 Looks like a spider web, 14-15 Embryo body shaping, and 20-21 break out of shell and candler to show folks what to expect by those dates. In that regard, this Okkobi M10 is a good teaching incubator thus making it exciting to watch eggs develop and hatch. It has a very good LED panel to show the inside temperature and humidity level. It is quick and easy to add water for humidity without opening the incubator. Because egg candling is so easy, you can easily see if the embryo inside the egg is developing as it should by important dates. I mark my eggs so I know if the automatic egg rotation is truly 360 degrees. It seems to not turn them 360 degrees. I am doing more turning. So far, I do like this incubator though. It keeps accurate temperature and humidity levels. The ultimate test will be if it hatches eggs like our trusted Silkie and Jersey Giant hens or if it will be like our Hippie hens- the White Afro Crested Black Polish hens- that love laying eggs but not hatching them. I literally have them in video camera laying eggs and looking at the Silkies like...take care of that for me ok. They are just too pretty to sit on eggs for 3 weeks. Well, I'm excited to discover and explore ways to make this Okkobi experiment successful. Time will teach us. Thanks, Amazon! ... show more
