🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

Based on the reviews, this chicken coop seems to have mixed opinions. Some customers appreciate the ample space and ease of assembly, while others are dissatisfied with the overall quality and durability. Dissatisfaction stems from the questionable wood quality and susceptibility to weather and predator damage.

Pros

  • 💎 Ample space for a moderate number of chickens
  • 🔧 Easy to assemble
  • 🐔 Chickens appear to enjoy the space and layout

Cons

  • ⚫ Thin, soft wood used which questions its durability
  • 🌧️ Susceptibility to weather damage and water leakage
  • 🦔 Might not offer enough protection against predators
  • 📏 Some parts might not align correctly hence extra effort needed to fix them
  • 💸 Considered overpriced by some customers given the quality flaws

Should I Buy It?

If durability, weather resistance, and predator protection are critical factors for you, this coop may not be a wise purchase. However, if ease of assembly and a spacious coop are more important, it might be worth considering. It may also be essential to bear in mind that the product's perceived value for money has been questioned by several reviewers.

  • I woild recommend
The media could not be loaded. It was easy to put together. My chickens love the extra room. And my daughter loves that she can go in and hang out with the chickens.

  • Horrible quality
It’s cute if it never had to be touched. Super poor quality the sides were falling apart I’m just extremely upset if i could return it i definitely would. This is my first year with chickens and i really thought spending that much money on a coop would pay off and i feel scammed

  • Rain pours down on the nesting boxes
The nesting boxes are constantly wet from the rain. Very disappointing for the price

  • Decent but not fabulous
Fairly easy to assemble and has enough room for what it says. Kind of low quality construction. Everything has to be squared up just right to get the slide out trays and run gates to open- which is hard if you don't have completely level ground. Tray system is ok but you can't put much for shavings or anything down (trays are metal and we would like to put wood shavings or something down) because if you do you can't slide the trays out to clean. I probably wouldn't pay this much for it again. ... show more

  • Not Worth The Buy
This product is not worth the purchase if you are serious about raising chickens. Background: My husband and I both grew up on farms and know how to appropriately raise chickens. Pros: Nice interior layout, good color choice Cons: The interior is a good size for 5-6 standard chickens, not 8-10 large. The run is way too small of a space for all the chickens that are also expected to fit in the coop. The wood used to make the coop is a softer and thinner wood, being held by tongue and groove. We live in the Midwest, and can tell it will not last more than one winter. Since some of the tongue and groove did not fit right together, so we had to use wood glue to fill in the gaps. Trim work is also held together with not appropriately sized nails, as the door fell apart within two days of installment. We had to use a stapler to reinforce the door trim. Overall, we are not recommending this product. ... show more

  • Flimsy and don't buy
This is so flimsy and I wish I could send it back. A lot of money for this POC

  • Do not purchase
This seemed like such a nice coop for my new flock. It was pretty easy to put together however some of the guide holes were in the wrong spot so we had to make new ones. The real problem is the fact that it will NOT protect your chickens from predators. Something dug under our coop and got into the fenced area. They chewed right through the door to the coop. They also dug under the chicken coop and began to chew through the floor. The product will also fall apart over time. I pulled the bottom out to clean and the handles came right off. I wouldn't recommend this for an outdoor coop at all and I wish I didn't waste the money on it. ... show more

  • It's okay but to expensive for this coop.
This is a large chicken coop. But the wood is very thin. I will have to weather proof this coop this winter. It's a nice looking coop and roomy. But if there is a problem good luck. I had minimal damage but I didn't get much help from customer service. Very poor customer service. This would not be good in very cold and snow and lots of rainy places. Only warm cooler areas. I live in Seattle so with a tarp it should be ok. Sorry about the review but give it alot of thought. ... show more
