So I’ve hatched 2 broods with a smaller incubator and decided to get a bigger one. First I must say, it would be hard to get 36 chicken eggs comfortably in it. I was able to get 32 and I’m worried about rotation. Secondly, there’s a very thin wire that connects to the rotational mechanism which could have been designed to be in a better place and not just hanging inside of the incubator. I couldn’t find a way to try the rotating mech so I have to wait the 90 minutes to see if it turns. There may be a way to turn it on manually, but I could t find it. I might contact the seller to see. So back the the thin wire for the rotational mechanism. I made some minor modifications to redirect that wire out of the incubator which would also allow taking lid off easier as well as covered the thin wire with some electrical tape. If this incubator works properly I will probably end up upgrading the wire and properly wrapping it with a proper shrink wrap for a cleaner more professional look. If this brood hatches I’ll update this review. In the end if it works I would recommend it. I like the roller rotating mechanism. I think if it works properly it would be very effective.
