Description

Description - Our Jumbo Soft Tiles are constructed with the same high density closed cell foam as our standard Jumbo Soft Tiles, but are softer creating a surface that is more shock absorbent. Featuring the same reversible colors, these interlocking tiles are still just as easy to carry and store. Coming with two removable edge pieces, the creation of corner, border, or center tiles is a breeze, allowing you to create any size finished flooring surface. Note: Foam products can be punctured by sharp animal nails, rough use, high heels, and moving furniture. Material – Closed cell EVA foam rubber. Size – 2' x 2'. Thickness – ~20 mm Weight – Each tile weighs ~2 Lbs. Recommended Uses – Jumbo Soft Tiles have been used successfully in kids playrooms, martial arts studios, children’s day care centers, home gyms, for tumbling and other gymnastic events, as pilates and yoga mats, home exercise rooms, and anywhere else where a cushioning floor tile system would be helpful.

  • EXACTLY What I Was Searching For!!
Color: Red/Blue Size: 16 - 72'x2' Tiles (64 Sq Ft)
I converted my spare bedroom into a gym, and needed something to protect my brand-new laminate floor from my free weights and Total Gym machine. I did a lot of research, comparison, read countless reviews and shopped both local stores and Amazon before making a decision. I considered both treadmill mats and foam flooring. The biggest problem I kept running into was size - no product I found covered a large enough surface area to fit my needs (the Total Gym is narrow, but long, close to 96 inches when fully extended). Then I stumbled across the IncStores jumbo foam tiles. I was pleasantly surprised to discover they are sold in a set of 16 tiles, each 2x2 ft. THAT was enough to cover the area I needed it to. Other Pros: - Price. At $114 and change, this was a much more affordable option than other products I'd come across. Many treadmill mats and packages of other foam tiles I found on Amazon were close to the same price, but I would have had to buy two or more sets to get the same coverage. And the gym flooring that local retailers (Home Depot, Lowe's) were selling? Their prices were just outrageous ($500+). - Composition. I had read a lot of reviews of other products that described them as having a strong, unpleasant "rubber" odor. Some product descriptions did not specify "non-toxic" or "does not contain PVC." I have two little kittens who chew and scratch just about EVERYTHING, so a safe product containing no harmful chemicals was also a must. These mats met ALL of those criteria. I was still a little nervous about ordering them; I don't like buying anything because it seems like the only viable option, but I went for it anyway. The tiles arrived much faster than I anticipated, within four business days of my placing the order. They were a cinch to put together. The product name and description are spot-on: these tiles are very soft and comfortable. They have "give" to them, but they're not flimsy. The 7/8" thickness is accurate. I'm not a yoga or Pilates person, but I imagine they'd be ideal for that purpose. I do pushups, sit-ups and other pre- and post-run floor stretches on them. Because of their softness and thickness, they'd also make a great surface for a children's play area. The tiles did slide around a little bit on the laminate floor with nothing on them, but since I've gotten them weighted down with my Total Gym they haven't moved or come apart. I've only had the tiles for a couple of weeks, so I can't speak yet to how durable they'll be long-term. However, my kittens (who are NOT declawed) constantly run, jump, play and wrestle on them and so far there's not a single hint of a scratch or tear anywhere. Bonus: I like that they come in two different color combinations: black/gray or blue/red. I chose the blue/red. It makes for a slightly less institutional and more energizing look and feel in my gym - and makes it a place where I WANT to spend time. Overall, this product meets all of my needs. It was a bargain, appears to be of excellent quality, shipped quickly and reliably. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and would recommend these tiles to anyone. ... show more

  • Great Quality, Easy to Use, Good Fall Protection!
Color: Red/Blue Size: 50 - 2'x2' Tiles (200 Sq Ft)
I put these in my mother's room at a memory care facility due to her frequent falls on to the hard flooring, and the ER trips that resulted. These cost less than an ambulance and ER visit - better to prevent than treat injuries! I covered the room with no problems. The puzzle-piece edges are tight and secure. No gaps even after a few weeks. It is firm enough that her wheelchair rolls just fine on the pad, but it's not so dense that it's hard. It absorbs impacts well, and has already proven successful in a fall. They can get dented with weight, but seem to restore pretty well. Worth the money. ... show more

  • Good quality but inconsistent over multiple orders
Color: Red/Blue Size: 42 - 2'x2' Tiles (168 Sq Ft)
I bought these for my garage and the first order had a line type pattern for 47 tiles. I needed to get about 15 more tiles so I placed the second order 16. Unfortunately the 16 were a different pattern. They were also marginally thinner than the original line pattern. They also have different traction levels. ... show more

  • The Pros and Cons
Color: Black/Grey Size: 60 - 2'x2' Tiles (240 Sq Ft)
Pros: * Simple installation. * They fit together nicely and cut easily with a sharp razor blade utility knife and a straight edge. I Installed about 60 tiles including all the cuts in about 4 hours. * They are soft on the feet - quite comfortable. Aligned perfectly with the stall mats from Tractor Supply that I previously installed. They are the exact same thickness as the stall mats so the transition from one to the other is flush. * They are easily replaceable if one of the tiles gets damaged. * Good value for the price Cons: * There is a film or residue of some kind on the tiles which stays to your socks. When you walk from these tile to hardwood flooring it makes your socks incredibly slippery. I'm on exaggerating. I laid out 4 of the tiles on my kitchen floor (wood laminate) and the slickness transferred to the floor from the tiles. It is invisible however I had to use a strong cleaner (Fantastic) to remove the residue from the floor. It also transfers from your socks to the floor as well. If wear shoes it probably won't be an issue...we are a "Take Your Shoes Off" house so it is an issue for us. * The tiles are really soft which is nice on the feet however they do not recover from heavier objects. If you have a treadmill or any workout equipment, I would suggest using stall mats which are super dense and firm. These tiles are not dense at all. I placed an aluminum ladder against the wall overnight and it left indentations. The tiles eventually recovered and the indentations are now gone, however heavier items will likely leave permanent indentations. In summary - I like the look and feel of the tiles, however the slickness from some type of residue and fragile/low density material is probably not suitable for many applications. You can see in the pictures the difference between the stall mats and the foam tiles. ... show more

  • I love these mats
Color: Black/Grey Size: 24 - 3'x3' Tiles (216 Sq Ft)
I purchased 8 boxes of the 3'x3' mats for 414 square feet total to use in my exercise room. They look great and feel great too. They are slightly soft, yet firm. They really arent soft enough for doing sit-ups and stuff like that so I still use a mat for exercises like that. They do squesh down when you put a heavy item on them but they rebound nicely unless its there for a very long time. I purchased a new dumbbell rack. My old one has 1200 pounds of weight on it which sat on these mats for about a week. The mats rwbounded about 90% after the old rack was gone. Some people commented they are slippery. I can definitely slide my floating bench around on it with ease, but I wouldnt really call them slippery. I do a lot of suspension trainer work, and with shoes on I never have a problem with my feet sliding. Overall I love them. ... show more
