I just received this and I admit, I made sure there was free returns because I’ve gotten some keypad cases in the past that were very disappointing. This was NOT one of them!!! The Air 5 snaps perfectly into the case with each button accessible. *The keyboard synced up instantly. *The entire case adds very little size/weight to the iPad. *The keyboard magnets hold it securely so there is no flopping. *The pencil holder is secure (but given a choice I’d prefer it on the top where it could charge) *The keys are intuitive to type on and have a nice Positive but quiet click for ease of rapid typing. * The case material feels good and sturdy, with a bit of texture so it doesn’t slip on my lap The iPad shuts off instantly when the case closes. I use this daily while going about daily life as I work from home. It’s important to me to have a keyboard case that doesn’t require lots of adjustments before I can use it. This one is comparable and even exceeds the usability of far more costly cases I have worked with in the past. I would most definitely recommend it to a friend. ***update- I’ ve been using this daily for work and it has not let me down. I opted to create my own Apple Pencil holder to avoid it snagging as I take it in and out of my purse. It was a quick simple fix and holds my pencil securely. I really liked this case and the keyboard feels nice. It magnets together and has a nice snap to it. Unfortunately, I needed a slimmer case for my set up, one where the keyboard was separate. This just felt heavy when I tried to tuck the keyboard away, but I think it was the nicest of the cases I have tried, wish it worked out because now I'm looking for a mini keyboard that's as nice as this one. ... show more

I usually get a Logitech case for my iPads but this time I couldn’t find one that was all one piece. I tried one that looked right, but the keyboard was moveable . . . Had to be moved to close the case. It could also slip if held on the lap. I tried a hard shell . . .but the hinge became weak after several months of use. I found this one and really like it. I did have to get used to the it having a Del key and a backspace key. It sits nicely with the tablet locked in place and the keyboard is ready to use . . .you don’t have to turn it on. The one thing that I don’t care for is the loop for the Apple Pen. It’s on the side and just hangs there. It would have been nicer to have it at the top where it can charge or just rest until needed. This case/keyboard is very lightweight and not overly expensive for as great as it is. I haven’t had it very long but have used it on my lap, on a table, on the corner of a desk and carrying it. I’ve bought and returned a few cases. Not only has this case (in my opinion) been better, beyond leaps and bounds, but has also been cheaper. This case supports and gives my iPad a laptop feel. I usually don’t leave reviews but how good this case is, I had to spread the word.

I would never buy again. I like the magnetic connection to the ipad, but the keyboard is too short so it makes it way too hard to type and there’s no lighting on the keys…would never buy again. If you dont use it to type on it would be ok , but I like to type on keyboards that I get for our ipads
