Two on top and two on the bottom. You can install your recessed power outlet in one and a low voltage scoop in the other knock out.
  • DOES IT FIT ? Most TV's from 30 to 60 inch will fit this TV mout. To insure your TV will fit make sure your TV has a VESA pattern (4 bolts holes on back of TV ) somewhere between 100mm(w)x 100m(h) up to 400(w)x 400mm(h). If your pattern falls within these sizes it will fit, then make sure your TV weights less than 80 pounds.

This in wall recessed mount is the only way to go. My 40" Samsung looks incredible as it "floats" on the wall with no visible signs of a mount. This mount would be really simple to install if the center of your wall, or wherever you mount the TV, is in between a stud bay. It's wasn't so simple for us. The center of my wall was lined up directly with a stud. To make matters worse, on one side of the stud was a return air bay and the other side of the stud had duct work running up it. Long story short, we had to cut and seal off all but about 4 inches of the duct work in order to make room for the mount. We also had to add a couple 1x4s in the wall to shore up the mount since it was not in between two wall studs. In the end, this was completely worth it! Everyone who has seen it is in awe. The TV is so close to the wall, I added a few of those clear rubber bumpers so the back of the TV would not scratch my wall. A couple things to note... My 40 inch wasn't quite able to pivot 90 degrees once the arm was fully extended. It came close, maybe 80 degrees, which was just fine for my viewing needs. I say this because I think in the description says up to a 42" would turn 90 degrees. The other thing I wanted to bring up is customer service from AV-Express. I emailed them before ordering with a couple of concerns I had for my particular mounting situation. They were quick to respond and provided a thorough response. I was impressed. Best recess wall mount that I've used and gets your TV as close as possible against It has 4 slot you can punch out to add all sorts of outlet or inside the mount. The thing is super sturdy because you mount it inside inbetween your stud (house stud has to be 16 on center) and secure it with 2 lag screw ( big bolt screws). This is a product I would buy again, actually this the 2nd unit I've bought. First one was mine and this one was for my old man after him seeing my setup. Pros - Super flush against the wall. Options to add outlets. Full motion adjustment. Sturdy Cons - Can be hard to install for someone that isn't as handy. Very Inportant Info - Your wall stud has to be 16" on center or you are going to have a hard time fitting this mount inbetween your stud. ... show more

    • Works great with a Samsung Frame 55"
I hunted around quite a bit for a mount that would let us hang a Samsung Frame 55" TV flat on the wall, but would also allow the TV to be pulled out from the wall and swivel from side to side. Great news that this mount does all of that! The VESA adapter included with this mount works perfectly and you can ditch Samsung's stock mount. The length of the arm allows us to pull the 55" Frame away from the wall and swivel it around +/- 45 degrees, and tilt it as well. When finished, it's easy to then push the TV back against the wall so it looks just like a hanging picture. All hardware was included to recess the wall box into drywall, and it sat perfectly between two 16" studs in our room. The setup is rock solid--even when the TV is fully extended away from the wall, it's very solid with zero give. ... show more

    • great product. Just maybe not the best thing for a 55 inch.
My husband installed this in our bedroom. We have a 55 inch Samsung that is about three years old. It’s a little heavy for the bracket I feel. You can feel it when you pull it out and rotated so most like I have to be very careful. I think it would be perfect for a TV that’s maybe Max 50 inch? Very easy to install, a little scary cutting into your drywall but it fit perfect. Took maybe an afternoon, I love that it’s recess and it’s it’s almost flat to the wall, I think because the TV is a 55 inch it goes out a little bit at the top, hard to sit completely flat, Again I think that’s simply because my TV is a little too heavy for it even though it says 55 inch will work. For my bedroom it’s fine As I don’t pull it out and rotated very often. And you can’t get a price on it, it is absolutely the cheapest one that you can find anywhere…did order one for the living room same size TV that holds up to 65 inch that I won’t have to worry about moving it quite so much Which we do in the living room. All in all great product. Just maybe not the best thing for a 55 inch. ... show more

I thought the mount was made from quality material and I was surprised by the weight of the mount. Our house is about 75 years old and studs are a little under 16" spacing had to remove/chisel the opening a little for it to fit but it went in the opening fine and the mount fit well covering the entire opening nicely. The tv sits very close to the wall and it moves and pivots very easy. Surface mounted mount would have been a little faster and easier to install but I think the couple of inches makes a big difference and I'm glad I went with this mount. Far more reasonably priced than other recessed mounts but real quality. ... show more
