Great quality and weight. It stays in place and warms my pool 3-4 degrees during a nice sunny day. The sun is only on my pool after 12 noon. Loses only a degree at night. I’m very pleased with this solar cover. Look guessed to using it in the spring.

Very happy with this cover. For the life of me, however, I can’t understand why they ship these rolled up BACKWARDS!!! The bubbles need to face down, and smooth side up… so ship it so it can be rolled out that way! It is such a huge pain to roll this out UPSIDE DOWN, and then have to unfold it and flip it while it’s water-logged. You gotta wonder if they deliberately are antagonizing their customers. Another good example of the need to drag the CEO out his/her office away from their personal stock portfolio, and make him/her install a few of these!! ... show more

    • Makes Pool Heater Much More Efficient

Just got an electric heater this year which has been great. The only issue, no fault of the heater, is that the fall nights are getting too cold for the heat pump to keep up. Decided to try this solar cover to extend our swim time into a NY November. I did not expect much but was ultimately blown away by it. Even with temps where the heater shouldn't work, the cover allowed it to get to the set 95* in a short period of time. As a bonus side effect, it kept all the leaves from clogging the filter/burning up the pump and reduced the massive evaporation issue i was having. Used to have to top off the level every day or two to keep it in the skimmer safe zone. Now the level sits proper without adding cold water which was another part of the heating struggle. Box says made in USA and it is a thick material. The only thing I didn't like is the size wasn't exactly on point. It was a tad too big and has to be bunched up in the middle to fit. This cover is pretty thick. It’s bigger than what we needed, but I prefer the sides hang over anyways. Before putting the cover on, the water was very cold. In less than 24 hours, after putting the cover on, the temperature of the water was a lot warmer. It’s a little stiff and is sticking to itself right now, but has we use it, I’m hoping it relaxes more. ... show more

I ordered the 24' round standard solar cover and feel it is well worth the price I paid. It fit perfectly and it does the job. It's a little difficult to maneuver on my own because I don't have a deck around my pool but its doable from inside the pool - if putting on/off outside of the pool, definitely takes two people and recommend two people the first time putting it on (I learned this the hard way). I can't comment on longevity because I've only had it about a week but so far I'm pleased. ... show more

All I can say is SAVE your money! I have purchased several solar covers from this company in a span of 15 years, and I wish I never bought this one from this company. I purchased this in April and used it from May until September (2024). In late August I noticed the material started breaking down and the bubbles started to come off of the cover into my pool starting in September. The cover had a 7 year warranty, but to my surprise after reaching out to IN THE SWIM they don't cover this material failure. WHO would want to spend 170 for a product to last 5 months? This was the most expensive solar cover I've purchased to date thinking it would last longer then the cheaper ones with less warranty. I was wrong and they wouldn't even do the right thing knowing NO ONE is going to keep this and have these bubbles in the filtration system.
